Sarah's eyes blazed with anger as she stormed into Dr. Lee's office. "You lied to me," Sarah spat, her voice trembling with rage.
Dr. Lee looked up from her desk, a calm smile on her face. "Sarah, what are you talking about?"
Sarah slammed her fist on the desk. "Don't play dumb with me. I know all about the false diagnosis. You said I was Bipolar."
Dr. Lee's smile faltered for a moment, but she quickly regained her composure. "Sarah, I can explain..."
But Sarah cut her off. "Explain? You think you can explain away the fact that you've been manipulating me for years? You think you can justify lying to me and poisoning me with those pills?"
Dr. Lee's eyes flashed with anger, but she kept her voice calm. "Sarah, you're not thinking clearly. You are delusional."
Sarah laughed, a cold, hard sound. "You're the one who's delusional, Lee. You're the one who's been playing God with my life. Why?"
Dr. Lee's face turned red with rage, but Sarah just kept pushing. "Tell me the truth, Doctor. Why did you lie to me? Why did you tell them I was Bipolar?"
Dr. Lee's expression changed, and for a moment, Sarah saw a glimmer of fear in her eyes. "I...I was asked to evaluate you after the Tamani incident," Dr. Lee stammered.
Sarah's eyes narrowed. "And?"
Dr. Lee took a deep breath. "I was told to say that you were bipolar. I was told that it was the only way to keep you out of prison."
Sarah's eyes went wide with shock. "Who told you to say that?" she demanded.
Dr. Lee's voice was barely above a whisper. "Your husband, Juke. He...he came to me and asked me to diagnose you as bipolar. He said it was the only way to protect you."
"You're lying Lee. Don't you lie to me!", Sarah exclaimed.
"I'm not! I'm telling you the truth. He didn't want you to go to prison. You basically killed a minor, you'd be gone for life. It was the only way Sarah", Dr. Lee said.
"Do you know what I went through because of you? Because of you I lost my job, my friend and my life. My entire career gone because of you! People called a mad murder! My kids got bullied because they were kids of the mad woman, the killer! Just because the two of you wanted me to be free!"
"Sarah I'm sorry!", Dr. Lee apologized.
" Sorry? Sorry? Are you kidding me?", in a lash of anger Sarah broke the glass coffee table in the middle of Dr. Lee's office. She picked up a shard a pointed it at Dr. Lee.
Sarah felt like she had been punched in the gut. Juke, her own husband, had been behind the false diagnosis all along. She felt a wave of rage and betrayal wash over her, and she took a step closer to Dr. Lee.
"You're going to pay for this," Sarah spat, her voice trembling with anger.
Dr. Lee let out a sinister smile. " Oh Sarah, you poor girl. I can see the rage in you, you want to kill me."
"Kill you? I'm itching to do that! But its not the way", Sarah said as she got her phone and called Blaine.
However, before Sarah could call him Dr. Lee stopped her immediately by uttering one word.
"Fall", Dr. Lee uttered calmly, Sarah then fell to the ground and in her mind, she was floating around in water.
Meanwhile, Jamin sat down across from Dostoevsky in the dining area of the ward. "I need to know more about the man who put a hit on my mother", Jamin said, his eyes locked on Dostoevsky's.
