The LEGACY

"Mr Jeon, I think my son has something to say on that regard. After all, he is the heir of Kim Corporation Enterprise....."
Kim said so confidently.

Jungkook and the other presented there all turned their attention to Taehyung.

"My son....here you go."

Taehyung's whole body turned cold. How could he say those things in front of Jungkook. If it was someone else he wouldn’t have hesitated. But now? His voice wasn’t  coming from his throat.

"Son?" Choi squeezed Tae's hand so hard, he thought his hand would get broken. Jungoook was clenching his jaw looking at their hands.

"Mr Kim...relax. You can say anything you want to. We will discuss that later. But now we wanna hear your opinion too. Please continue. " Jungkook said wanting to give Taehyung some hints that it was ok.

Taehyung pulled his hand from Choi's hold.

"T-this company and the whole properties of Kims were my parent's. They really did hard work for this company. And when my mom died, all of those were automatically transferred to my name as you know. I don't have another siblings of my own. So I became the sole owner. That time I was only ten and my d-dad Mr Choi Yun Tak had got my custody. And till now he managed everything for the company. I - to be honest I don't have any desire for all these wealth. I think it would be better if my legal guardian manage my Company too. I'm still young and I- I don't think I'm capable of doing this. So it would be better if Dad manage the company as CEO." Taehyung said all this in a minute not even glancing at Jungkook for once. He couldn’t see hurt or disgust for him in Jungkook's eyes. Jumgkook was gonna hate him wasn’t he?

Everyone was silent. Choi was internally screaming in happiness. Cause Tae had said everything as he wanted. Now Jeon's couldn’t make Taehyung the CEO.

Jungkook looked at Mi Rae. His mother was already looking at him. They knew. They knew it that Choi would try to manipulate him or try to scare him. And Tae would say that he didn’t want the legacy back.

"Mr Kim...you can have some water. I guess you are looking a bit shaken." Jungkook said in a casual voice. But Tae did actually listened to him.

"Well, I wanna clear a lot of things. But before that, Mr Choi where is your board members? I think my assistant Mr Lee informed you about that. They should've been here to discuss things with us." Jungkook raised his eyebrow. Did Choi think of them as a joke?

"About that I'm really sorry Mr Jeon. I absolutely forgot about that. Mr. Han you should've told me." Choi scolded his assistant. It was actually their plan. They didn’t want their board members to be here. It could turn against them. So it was better not taking the risk. They would make some excuses to Jeons.

"Mom..."

Mi Rae called someone as soon as Jungkook took her name.

"Yeah. Send them inside."

Everyone’s focus was on Mi Rae. Who was coming again?

After some moments, seven men entered the meeting room one by one. Looking at them Choi's eyes were like they would ride on his forehead.  It was his board members. How!!

"Y-you guys?"  he half stood from his chair.

"Mr Choi please sit down. Let me explain everything. "

Choi gulped. Did he do some mistake by not informing the board members?

"So It's just Mr Lee informed your board members in case you forgot to tell your own board members about this big partnership that is going to be happened. Isn't Mr Lee so awesome?" Jungkook pointed to Mr Lee with his hand, with a smile on his face.
