Bluerose156v2: What Fandoms and Fanfics mean to me is, in a sense, a community of which creates a story, after the initial story has been told. To be more specific, once a story has been told, doesn't mean that HAS to be the end! There's always in wait another story and chapter whether it be aftermath, current events, or even a starter to the main story line.
And with that story comes another character you fall in love with- even though they're not canon, if the writer plays their cards right, you can make it feel like the characters you conjure, are MEANT to be.

Bluerose156v2: I stumbled upon fanfiction through my friends in school. They were so great at portraying their minds, that I myself wanted to portray my own creative mind by creating a relatable character in a familiar world everyone loves.
That's the majority of it though- there's always a little slice of me that feels responsible for my journey as well because of my deep love for reading, and placing myself into those worlds to feel what the character feels, and see what they're seeing. It's a truly indescribable feeling unless you've been there.
