Welcome to Fanfic's Hall of Fame, Ale_lover1!!!

Ale_lover1: It means everything to me, it is a refuge where I feel safe and accepted. At first, when I was young, it was a place of fun and entertainment, but now as a young adult and after a strong event in my life, it is a safe and reliable place, where I can not be hurt again.

Ale_lover1: I've been in the fanfiction world for 10 years now.

Ale_lover1: Yes, I remember. But we are not in touch anymore, since university took up a lot of my free time.

Ale_lover1: A lot. I suffered an attack on my life a while ago and fell into depression and anxiety, as well as constant fear. That's why fanfiction and Wattpad in general are my escape from that feeling. A safe place where I know no one can hurt me again like they tried to do physically.

Ale_lover1: Being able to see and be in new worlds, because each fanfiction is a different world. I love being able to let my imagination fly and see those worlds that writers share.

And as a writer my goal and favorite part is to be able to create the same space that Wattpad has always offered me with what I have been creating these days. A place where the reader can feel safe and let their imagination go. And at the same time always remind everyone and myself that all people have magic inside them.

Ale_lover1: I believe and hope that its future will be for the better, that it will give more visibility and opportunities to writers to give them a chance in the labor market. But without losing important features (like the free aspect) so that new people continue to join this beautiful community.

And I hope that in the future I can be part of the ambassadors and be able to support from my career, but also as a writer to strengthen the space that I am creating.
