Mona26042009: To me these two words mean salvation, solace and solution. For me, fandom isn't a bunch of crazy and obsessed fans who just can't stop talking about their favourite artists.
Fandom is a family of fans, who may divided by their countries, cultures, religions but are united by their love, support and respect for their idols/artists. It's a place which makes us feel a lil bit less lonely- that we're not the only ones who care. . .
And about fanfiction. . . Well, for me, it's kind of an escape from reality. Imagination is like a portal that transports us to the world of Fanfiction- where anything and everything that can be imagined comes to life. I can't go on talking more, or can I. . .?

Mona26042009: So just like any typical fanfic reader, my journey started with my friends dragging me into the world of Fanfiction. I started off reading the typical Y/N stories. The urge to try other tropes kicked in. So, that's how I entered the world of Fanfic.

Mona26042009: Her username was vaani75. It was so joyful! Actually I had started writing a ff and she voted on it. Most of the votes on that ff are hers. She always told me that I'm a good writer. We chat through dms, and yeah I'm still in touch with her.

Mona26042009: I guess Fanfiction has its way of taking readers away from the reality, in the warm and much needed comfort of imagination when we're going through difficult times. It also makes us feel happy as we celebrate our successes with snacks in one hand and delicious fanfics in the other waiting to be relished!

Mona26042009: I think that Fanfiction has a lot of potential. With thousands of fans joining fandoms every year, I think Fanfiction would become one of the most prominent and loved genres of all time.
