Welcome to Fanfic's Hall of Fame, eyesonlyforhessa!!!

eyesonlyforhessa: To me fandoms are like a family where I always feel included and can share my obsession with other like-minded people. Fanfiction is a way for me to escape reality and to keep my obsession with a particular fandom alive.

It's a great way to be creative, especially after I've finished a book or movie and there are certain events that won't stop replaying in my head because I didn't like the outcome. I just start writing my own version of what I feel should have happened.

eyesonlyforhessa: I had just finished watching After and After We Collided for the first time, then without any other movies available to watch yet, I decided to read all five books, which I accomplished in about a week. I felt completely obsessed with Hardin and Tessa and there was nothing left for me to watch or read, so I decided to start writing my own story with a new twist on Hardin and Tessa's relationship.

eyesonlyforhessa: I do remember my first fan because they were the first person to comment on my first story and it was a really exciting moment for me. Just knowing what I was writing had made a positive difference to someone was such a wonderful feeling.

eyesonlyforhessa: Writing fanfiction has been a tremendous help during difficult times. I've had quite a few tough moments since I started writing three years ago and each time I felt overwhelmed by a situation I would sit down and write.

Writing helped me a lot, not only because I was focusing on writing instead of worrying, but also because it was a way to take a break from reality and escape into whatever world I was writing about at the time.

eyesonlyforhessa: My favourite part of writing fanfiction is writing multiple stories and storylines involving the same characters. I always find myself writing a story one way, then while I'm still working on it, I feel inspired and want to go in a completely different direction with the story, so I end up writing another story and another story.

I love how fanfiction can make characters immortal. There's always a different adventure waiting to be written and I love how that means a fandom will never die.

eyesonlyforhessa: Fanfiction will continue to grow. As more fandoms are created and discovered, more fanfiction writers will also be created to carry on those fandoms. I want to continue to write as a way to nurture my creativity. I hope I can make a difference to those reading my stories and maybe even inspire others to follow their passion.

eyesonlyforhessa: I've heard from so many people who have told me they not only enjoy reading my stories, but it's helped them through difficult times as well. I appreciate everyone who has supported me and encouraged me along the way, and it's impossible to name only one.
