The office hummed softly with the remnants of a long day, the faint sound of footsteps echoing as employees left one by one. Jules remained at her desk, her fingers briskly tapping away at the keyboard. Her friends bid her goodnight as they passed by, and she offered them a distracted smile, too immersed in her work.

The last door clicked shut, and silence settled in. The desk phone at Ava's empty station startled Jules out of her thoughts. Hesitantly, she reached over and picked up the receiver.

"Hello?" she greeted.

"I have a delivery for Sky Chandler," a crisp voice responded on the other end.

"Oh, yes. Give me a moment," Jules replied. She hurried downstairs, retrieving the package, a nondescript box that felt slightly heavier than it looked.

Upstairs, Sky Chandler leaned back in his chair, watching the security monitor in his cabin. His eyes followed Jules as she returned with the package, her expression soft and unguarded.

"Your delivery has arrived," she said, stepping into his office, her warm smile lighting up the room.

Sky didn't move toward her. Instead, he stood and walked to the door, peering outside. "Has everyone left the office?" he asked, his tone low but casual.

"Yes, sir. It's quite late," Jules replied, a touch of curiosity in her voice.

Sky smiled faintly. "And why did you order so many things?" she asked, tilting her head playfully.

Sky turned the lock on the door and faced her, his gaze steady and unyielding. "To eat with you, of course," he replied, his mischievous grin both teasing and earnest.

"With me?" Jules asked, blinking in surprise.

"Right," he said, shrugging slightly, though his smirk betrayed his intentions.

Jules clutched the package tightly, her mind racing as a nervous gulp escaped her. Sky's sharp eyes noticed the gesture, and his grin widened. He walked over to his desk and began lighting scented candles.

"Candles? For snacks?" Jules asked, her brows furrowing.

"To set the mood," Sky replied smoothly, his confidence unwavering. "And, to stop you from being mad at me."

"Mad at you? You think I'm that childish that snacks will fix things?" she teased, though her smile softened her words.

Sky didn't answer. Instead, he opened the package and plucked out a cookie, holding it out to her. Jules leaned forward and took it directly from his hand, biting quickly.

"You eat fast," Sky observed, chuckling.

He offered her another treat, and Jules snatched it up with playful enthusiasm. Finally, Sky pulled out a straw-like candy and held one end in his mouth, moving closer to Jules. As he leaned in, she surprised him by snatching the candy entirely, chewing with a cheeky grin.

Slightly annoyed but undeterred, Sky reached for a long, thread-like candy. "This time," he thought to himself, "I'll win."

Both leaned in, their eyes locking. Sky's movements were slow and deliberate, while Jules mirrored him, inching closer. Just as their lips were a breath apart, Jules bit her end of the candy and leaned back, a playful glint in her eye.

Sky blinked, disappointment flickering across his face. "Did I do something wrong?" he asked, genuinely perplexed. "I watched those web movies—they do this kind of thing, don't they?"

"You didn't do anything wrong, Sir Sky," Jules reassured him. "I was just... surprised."

Sky exhaled deeply, his tone softening. "I'm sorry if I shocked you. And... I'm sorry I wasn't honest with you yesterday."

Jules straightened, remembering her friends' encouragement. "Can we try that again, Sir Sky?" she asked, her voice steady but tinged with warmth.

Sky blinked, then grinned, picking up the same candy. He moved closer, turning her chair to face him fully. The soft notes of a love tune filled the room, amplifying the moment's tenderness. He bit one end of the candy, and this time, Jules leaned forward willingly.

Their lips finally met in a kiss, tentative at first but quickly growing in depth and meaning. Sky pulled back slightly, his gaze searching hers. "You want me to open up to you... although it's hard, I'll try," he said quietly.

Jules smiled, her voice gentle. "I understand."

Sky's lips curved into a rare, genuine smile. "You're more special than anyone else."

"I feel special now... because you opened up to me," she replied.

"Just promise me you won't be mad at me anymore," Sky said, his voice almost pleading.

"I'm not," Jules reassured him.

A playful glint returned to her eyes. "Is there more to kissing?"

Sky chuckled. "Yes, plenty. Let me show you."

Their kiss deepened as the scene transitioned to Sky's home. The two stumbled toward the stairs, their breath quick and mingled. Suddenly, Jules froze.

"Sir Sky..." she whispered, her voice trembling with a mix of surprise and wonder. As her gaze settled on his face, she let out a startled exclamation.
