Sky froze for a moment, his senses awash with her proximity. "Don't do this," he protested gently, his voice shaky with restraint.

But Jules was relentless. She ignored his plea and pressed another peck, her lips teasingly grazing his own. When she bit his lip playfully, it was as if a spark ignited within him, and the dam broke. Giving in, Sky kissed her back, his movements laden with a mix of passion and hesitation.

Their moment, however, was fleeting. A sudden knock on the door sent a jolt of panic through both of them.

Eyes wide, Jules whispered urgently, "Sky, you forgot to lock the door!"

Eyes wide, Jules whispered urgently, "Sky, you forgot to lock the door!"

Without wasting a second, Sky grabbed Jules by the waist, half-carrying and half-pushing her toward the table. "Hide under there!" he urged, sliding her beneath the desk before perching casually atop it. He adjusted his tie, masking his breathlessness just as Ava stepped into the room.

"Sir Sky," Ava began hesitantly, glancing down at the floor, "I need to discuss something with you."

"Um..." Sky's mind scrambled for composure. "Yes, of course."

"Please, have a seat, sir," Ava said, gesturing to his chair.

Sky hesitated, but her expectant gaze left him no choice. Reluctantly, he slid off the table and sat in his chair, fidgeting nervously as Jules remained hidden below.

Tears welled up in Ava's eyes as she blurted, "Please don't fire me!"

Taken aback, Sky leaned forward. "I'm not firing you," he said after a moment, his tone firm yet measured. "But I do need to address something."

Ava nodded, her tears now flowing freely.

"Ryan is a married man, Ava," Sky began. "What you're doing is wrong, and I strongly advise you not to repeat it. I won't report this, but only because I believe everyone deserves a chance to correct their mistakes. Don't make me regret this."

Ava gasped, clutching her chest in relief. "Thank you so much, sir!" she cried, attempting to bow at his feet.

Sky, horrified by the thought of Jules witnessing this, quickly pulled Ava upright. "Stop that! It's not necessary," he muttered.

But Ava, overcome with gratitude, tried again, much to Sky's growing discomfort. Each time she knelt, he pulled her up, his eyes darting nervously toward the table where Jules was hidden.

Finally, Sky snapped, "Enough! Please, just leave now."

Ava nodded, wiping her tears as she exited. Sky wasted no time locking the door behind her, his heart pounding in his chest.

Exhaling deeply, he sank into his chair, his hands running through his disheveled hair. Moments later, Jules emerged from beneath the desk, her smirk teasing him.

"Sir Sky," she teased, her tone laced with mockery, "the cold-blooded and brutal boss has a soft side. You're so kind..you deserve a reward."

"What kind of reward?" Sky asked, raising an eyebrow, though he already had an inkling of her intentions.

Jules didn't reply. Instead, she leaned in and captured his lips again. A soft melody hummed faintly in the background, setting the perfect tone for their intimate moment.

"Don't," Sky whispered adorably, trying to resist her advances. But Jules, unyielding, deepened the kiss, silencing his protests.

After a brief hesitation, Sky surrendered, allowing himself to be swept away by the love of his life. Together, they shared a tender, unguarded moment, their connection burning brightly within the confines of his office.

Later, Jules was freshening up in the restroom when Ava walked in.

"Mon, are you still here?" Ava asked, her voice laced with curiosity.

"I just finished talking to the boss," Jules replied hesitantly, avoiding Ava's inquisitive gaze.

Ava's sharp eyes scanned her face. "Why haven't you left yet? And.." she paused, grinning slyly, "why do your lips look smudged?"

Caught off guard, Jules quickly wiped her mouth. "Oh, I must have rubbed them without realizing," she stammered, trying to sound nonchalant.

Ava chuckled knowingly. "You're terrible at lying. I heard everything."

"What exactly did you hear?" Jules demanded, her eyes wide with panic. Ava mimicked exaggerated sounds, "Ooh, ah, ooh," causing Jules to flush crimson.

"Great, I'm doomed," Jules muttered under her breath.

"So, how long has this been going on?" Ava pressed, her curiosity unabated.

"Please, Ava, don't tell anyone!" Jules pleaded desperately. "I'll resign soon. I know it's against company policy, and I don't want Sky to get into trouble."

Ava softened. "Relax, I won't say a word as long as you keep quiet about me too. Deal?" Jules exhaled in relief, shaking Ava's hand.

Meanwhile, Sky's aunt, Harper, stepped into his cabin. She froze, surveying the mess of scattered papers and overturned chairs.

"My goodness!" she exclaimed, hands on her hips. "Did they have a meeting or a battle? Or was it... a cat?"

Sky, still recovering from the whirlwind of events, could only hope Harper's suspicions wouldn't lead to more trouble.
