Sometimes, all we need is silence.
Not the kind that screams of loneliness, but the peace born of nothingness—a retreat that shields words from becoming weapons. Sky Chandler, immersed in this philosophy, walked with a slow and deliberate pace, his steps a rhythm of his simmering emotions.

Behind him came Jules, her voice soft yet urgent, calling, "Sir Sky!"

Her presence interrupted his solitude as she tugged at his arm, forcing him to stop. "Are you still mad at me?" she asked, her voice carrying the weight of hope and regret.

Sky remained silent, his gaze fixed on anything but her, as though eye contact would betray his resolve.

"Forgive me already," Jules pleaded gently. Her voice trembled with vulnerability. "I forgave you when you were wrong, you know," she reminded him.

"It's not the same," Sky replied, his tone sharp, his words like a blade cutting through her excuses. He exhaled deeply, the hurt pooling into his eyes. "Recently, it feels like I'm the only one showing you that I love you. Do you know what that does to me, Jules? I am Sky Chandler. I had a fiancée once—someone who followed me around, desperate to marry me. I left her because I loved you. And you? You hurt me."

Jules clasped his hands tighter, her gaze steady, her voice soft yet steady. "I'm truly sorry, Sky. I never meant to hurt you."

Her words hung in the air, heavy with meaning. But before Sky could respond, the loud blare of a car horn broke the tension.

A sleek red Mercedes glided toward them, its arrival as theatrical as the figure stepping out of the passenger side.

"Hey!" Tee exclaimed, landing on the scene with his characteristic flair. "Isn't this the couple of the year?" He was accompanied by none other than Dianne, her radiant smile a contrast to the shock etched on Jules' face.

"Dianne?" Jules stammered. "What are you doing here? With him? What happened to your boyfriend?"

"Well..." Dianne started, her smile unfaltering. "We broke up. And now, here I am with my soulmate." She glanced at Tee, who was grinning like a cat that got the cream.

Sky raised a brow. "How did you find us so suddenly? Did you stalk us? Or... did Grandma send you as her spy?"

Tee ignored the jab, his eyes darting between Sky and Jules. "Are you two in the middle of an argument?" he asked bluntly, reading the atmosphere with ease.

Sky didn't answer. Instead, he walked away, leaving Jules to watch his retreating figure, her heart aching.

Later that evening, amidst the soft hum of laughter and distant clinks of glasses, Riya entered the scene in a stunning party gown.

"Wow," Erik breathed, his admiration almost tangible. "So beautiful." Riya smirked playfully. "Why do I have to dress up so nicely today?"

"Well," Erik said, leaning closer with a mischievous grin, "I love it when you turn me on like this. But honestly? I'd rather take it off."

Riya raised an eyebrow, stepping closer. "Oh, really? Then let me help you out."

But before Erik could retort, Jules approached, her presence cutting through their flirtation.

"You look gorgeous, Riya," Jules said, her smile warm but tinged with distraction. "Thank you!" Riya replied, blushing slightly.

Erik, never one to miss an opportunity, teased, "So... how's your fly? What's his name again? Still upset?" Jules forced a smile, refusing to react. "It'll be fine," she said. "Riya, is everything ready?"

As they moved to the dining area, Jules spotted Sky seated with Tee and Dianne. Determined, she enacted a plan, stumbling to the ground with a dramatic cry.

Sky, alarmed, rushed to her side. "What happened? Did you get a cramp? Are you hurt?" Jules shook her head. "No, not at all."

"Then why did you call for help?" Sky asked, his concern shifting to confusion.

"Because," Jules said, her voice laced with mischief, "someone was upset with me

"Because," Jules said, her voice laced with mischief, "someone was upset with me. I needed help—someone is still mad at me."

Sky exhaled heavily, attempting to walk away again, but Jules grabbed his hand. "You helped me, Sky. That means you're not angry anymore, right?" she teased, wrapping an arm around his waist.

Before he could pull away, she leaned in, pressing a gentle kiss on his lips. "Forgive me," she whispered. Sky paused, his silence giving way to action as he returned her kiss, the gesture speaking louder than words.
