As they hit the open road, the excitement between Sky and Jules is palpable. The Black Knight—purrs down the highway, carrying them toward Dame. As they arrive, the aroma of freshly grilled river prawns fills the air, adding to Jules' enthusiasm. Despite having devoured a whole pile of prawns the previous day, Jules can't help but keep the excitement alive.
"Hold on, let me get a photo first!" Jules says, reaching for her phone. Sky watches her, eyebrows raised, clearly bemused by her dedication to capturing the moment.
"It's... really that good?" Sky asks, amused by her enthusiasm.
Jules grins as she clicks a few shots. "You wouldn't understand, would you?
Now I get why you missed out last time!" Sky chuckles.
"Who was upset?" With a mischievous look, Jules teases.
"You pay more attention to those prawns than to me!" sky spills his mind a little.
When Sky tries to dig into his food, Jules quickly holds him back. "Just a moment!" she beams, flashing a Hollywood smile as she angles her camera.
Sky is floored. "Why must you take pictures before eating? Are you... a social media addict?"
"Hey! It's not every day I get to eat such an expensive dish. Gotta show off a little, right?" Jules says playfully. "Don't you post on Facebook, Sir Sky? You could use my photos!"
Sky shakes his head, looking thoroughly confused. "Seems like a waste of time to me. You actually enjoy all that?"
"Oh, I'm everywhere—FB, IG, TikTok, Twitter," Jules replies, nonchalant. "It's fun to share things! A lot of my office seniors are on my friend list too," she adds, leaning into the conversation, "even Ryan sends me these cute stickers on chat to flirt."
Sky's playful demeanor falters for a moment. "I send you stickers too..." he mutters, somewhat defensively.
Jules just laughs, clearly amused by his mild jealousy. "Yes, yes, every day. Hey, here—try some more!" she interrupts, offering a piece to keep things light.
After a few more playful exchanges, Sky sits back in a swinging chair, swaying gently as he waits for Jules to return with dessert. When she hands him a bowl of ice cream, her eyes twinkle as she offers, "Come on, it's my treat. Lighten up!"
Sky hesitates but finally accepts. "Your friends told me your words don't always match your heart," Jules teases, smirking. Sky looks over at her, taking a spoonful.
As they savor the ice cream, Jules steals glances at Sky, her heart racing. She's starting to realize just how comfortable she feels around him.
"What if I told you I don't like you?" Sky asks suddenly, eyes intent on her reaction.
"It means you do like me," she counters, smiling softly. Sky's cheeks flush, and he awkwardly distracts himself by pointing at her lips.
"You've made quite a mess," he murmurs, gently wiping her lips. Their eyes meet, and Sky, emboldened, asks, "Which part of my face do you like the most?"
Jules stammers, "Your... nose, maybe?"
"Then... don't you want to bite it?" Sky suggests, trying to sound casual but clearly nervous. When Jules laughs, he continues, "How about a trade? You bite my nose, and I'll... bite your lips."
Jules freezes, caught off guard, her gaze locked on his lips. Slowly, Sky leans in, his confidence wavering yet growing as their faces inch closer.
Just then, her phone buzzes. Breaking the moment, she picks it up. "Hey, Noah. I'm at Dame, having a meal with Sky." Her voice is casual, but her mind races.
As she talks, Sky stands and strides back to the car, his expression a mix of frustration and uncertainty. Ending her call, Jules quickly follows him, wondering what's on his mind and feeling her own heart flutter in a way she can't quite control.
