As the seconds ticked by, Jules could feel the weight of the room shift. The boss approached her, his sharp gaze locking onto her from a distance. She instinctively turned away, avoiding his penetrating stare. "What time is it?" he demanded, his voice cutting through the murmurs of the office.

"9:15," came the chorus of nervous responses. With a sly smirk, he announced, "Assemble in the meeting room in five minutes for an important announcement." Uncomfortable music played softly in the background, heightening Jules' unease.

Just as he took a few steps away, he spun around, adding, "Actually, make that two minutes." The smirk returned, sending a shiver down her spine as he departed.

Confused, Jules turned to Ava. "Why is everyone acting so restless?"

"His body language screams emergency," Ava replied, her eyes wide.

Ryan chimed in, "That smile? Definitely deadly. Whenever the boss smiles, someone gets terminated."

Sophie playfully smacked Ryan. "Shut up! Don't jinx it." But Ryan shrugged and dashed toward the meeting room, with everyone else following suit.

The meeting room loomed large, reminiscent of an auditorium, its pale walls and black seats contributing to an eerie atmosphere. Tension hung thick as employees exchanged suspicious glances, the room echoing with murmurs of anxiety.

"Listen up, everyone," the boss's voice boomed as he took center stage, a commanding presence. "I'm managing this company the best I can so we can all stay here as a family."

Yet no one looked at ease; fear etched into their faces. "But I have one question," the boss continued, his tone suddenly stern. "Family members mustn't date. Am I right?"

The room fell silent, a wave of shock washing over everyone. Sophie shot a glance at Ryan, who had gone pale.

The boss stepped closer to the projector, clicking a button that revealed a video from the surveillance cameras. The screen flickered to life, showing two employees sharing a tender moment, unaware of the impending doom. Gasps echoed as all eyes turned to the couple, shame and terror reflecting in their eyes.

"NO OFFICE ROMANCE IS ALLOWED!" the boss roared, his voice a blend of authority and anger. Jules watched, her heart heavy as the accused employee stood up, desperately defending his love. "But we haven't done anything wrong at work!"

"For this company, rules are rules," the boss retorted coldly. "You've both been here long enough to know that. If you don't respect the rules, take your stuff and leave."

With a flick of his wrist, he handed them their compensation, a smirk tugging at his lips before he turned to leave. "And let this be a warning to everyone," he added, his voice trailing off in anger.

Silence enveloped the room as the couple exited, defeated and humiliated. Sophie turned to Jules, her expression serious. "You must obey the rules unconditionally, or you'll end up like them."

"Is that really a rule?" Jules felt a wave of disappointment wash over her, the reality of her new job sinking in.

Soft, melancholic music began to play as Jules stood lost in thought, reflecting on the chaos she had just witnessed. Meanwhile, the scene shifted to the boss AKA Sky, who walked away with a mask of anger, hiding a storm of emotions beneath the surface.
