After a long miserable 4 classes, the bell releasing us for lunch rang.

I walked out of my class to crowded hallways and slowly made my way towards the cafeteria trying not to bump into anyone by accident.

When I finally made it to the cafeteria I walked over to our usual table and waited for the girls to get there. It took them a while but after about 5 minutes they finally made it and sat down with me.

"Jeez, could those hallways have any more people?" Kaylee said with irritation in her voice.

"I know right? There's to many people at this school." I said.

We got up to get get lunch and when we returned we sat and began eating. "So did you hear about the party Kenneth's throwing tommorow?" Brooklyn said looking up from her tray.

"Yeah I heard about it, Justin was telling me something about it."

"Oh so now you and Justin are talking" Cassadie asked. Everyone knew that Cassadie has had a crush on Justin since she was in 8th grade, but he never seemed to notice her.

"Oh God no, he's a total creep." I said, assuring her that we weren't talking in the way she was thinking. I could never do that to her, or any of my friends. I knew better than that.

"Oh okay.. well I wouldn't care if you did, its not like were together or anything, at least yet." she said. She was determined to make him like her before we graduated.

"So.. anyways, this party at Kenneth's on Saturday. I think we should go! It will be fun." Brooklyn said. "Since he's my boyfriend I'll have to make an appearance at some point anyways so why don't we all just go."

I wasn't planning on going, but with everybody else going I couldn't miss out. "Fine I'll go but only for a few hours." I finally said after a moment.

I smile spread across the girls face. "Yes! We knew you would end up coming anyways even if we had to force you out of the house." Landreigh said. I let out a small giggle before I took another bite and threw away my tray.

"So who's house are we getting ready at?" Kaylee asked. We couldnt get ready at Brooklyn's cause we didn't like her dad very much. We couldnt get ready at Cassadie's or Landreigh's since their parents didn't like a group of people at the house, and it was obvious we weren't going to Kaylee's.

"I guess we could get ready at mine, my parents wont be home." I softly spoke.

"Perfect well all meet over at Adalyn's around 7 to get ready okay girls!" Kaylee said with a smile across her face.

After lunch was finally over I made my way to the last 4 classes of the day. The one thing I hated about highschool was that we had so many classes and each one was on opposite ends of the school.

After a few hours I finally walked into my last class of the day, English. I sat down in my seat and pulled out my notebook and pen snad started jotting down the notes Mr. Jefferson was writing on the board.

When I was done I looked at the clock to see that only 20 minutes had passed. I sighed as I pulled my book out from under the desk.
"Okay guys for the remainder of the class you will be reading chapter 8-10 of the book we've been reading. When you come back on Monday you will have a quiz over the chapters you've read so far." I rolled my eyes as Mr. Jefferson continued speaking.

When I finished the chapters I was reading I heard the bell ring and stuck the book back under my desk. "Finally." I quietly mumbled so no one could here me as I walked out.

School was finally over for the day and I was relieved. I wanted to go home and curl up into my bed. I walked out of the front doors of the school and continued down the side walk towards my house. After 10 minutes of walking a sleek black mustang sped passed me, going at least 20 over the limit. "Fucking jerk." I mummbled under my breath and continued walking.

After 5 more minutes of walking I made it to my house. It was a nice brick 2 story house. I'd always lived comfortably with the kind of money my parents made. We lived in a nice neighborhood, with newly built houses.

I walked up to my front door unlocking it and closing it behind me as I walked in and plummeted down onto the couch dropping my bag next to me. I looked at my phone to see there was still nothing from my parents. "Of course, as usual." I said to myself as I could feel the hot tears well up into my eyes.

After a few tears fell I wiped them away with my hand and turned on the TV. After 30 minutes of flipping through the channels, I couldnt find anything good so I shut the TV off. I looked at the time to see it was almost 5pm. I walked into the kitchen to see what there was to eat.

When I opened the door I was greated to an almost empty fridge and made a mental note to go grocery shopping. I settled on ordering pizza and having it delivered.

I went and sat back down on the couch and scrolled through Instagram on my phone waiting for the pizza to arrive. After 20 minutes or so of waiting there was a knock on my door. "Finally the pizza is here I'm starving" I groaned as I pulled myself up from the couch.

I grabbed a $20 out of my wallet before walking to the door. I was greeted by a young man maybe in his early 20's holding my pizza at the front door. "Adalyn? I have a medium pepperoni pizza." He said scanning over the reciept.

"Yep that's me." I took the pizza handing him the $20 in exchange. "Keep the change!" I said as I closed the door. I went and sat back down on the couch adoring the smell of the hot pizza on the table in front of me before I opened the box and took a slice. I decided to get back on the TV and watch Netflix.

When I logged into Netflix I selected on Gossip girl and began watching as I ate some of the pizza. Before I knew it 4 hours had passed and I was still sitting on the couch watching TV. I looked up on the clock to check the time and saw that it was almost 9.

I got up shutting the TV of and made my way upstairs. When I opened the door of my room I walked in turning the lights on and sat at my vanity. I grabbed a makeup wipe out of the drawer and began wiping my makeup off and tossing the wipe into the trash.

I got up and walked towards the shower and peeled off my clothes and did my usual shower routine. When I got out I made my way to my closet and grabbed a pair of sweatpants and and oversized t-shirt before I tucked myself into my sheets and decided to try and call my parents before I fell asleep.

I was met with both their voicemails. I hung up the phone and threw it onto the nightstand. I snuggled myself deeper into my sheets before sleep slowly overcame me.
