While I waited for Nathan to come back, I decided to try and call my parents once more.

I was then again met with "Leave your message at the beep..." on the other side of the phone. Out of anger I threw my phone at the wall. It fell to the ground with another "crack" I sighed knowing I probably cracked my phone even more.

Nathan came running in with an woman. "What the fuck was that" he asked looking at the phone on the ground and his eyes wandered up to the wall were there was now a small hole where the corner of my phone hit. He looked back at me like he was waiting for an answer.

I couldn't help but look at the woman. She looked very well kept, with her blond hair spun into a bun on top of her head, maybe in her early 30's. She was dressed in purple scrubs with a small duffle bag in her hands.

I watched Nathan pick the phone up off the ground and set it on the nightstand next to me. "Hold out your hand." I hesitantly started at his hand before slowly pushing my hand out. I looked at my hand as it inched closer out to him. It was trembling and Staind with dried up blood.

He dropped 2 pills into my hand and handed me a cup of water. "Here it will help ease the pain a little." I started down at the pills in my hand before I decided to take them. I finished off the cup of water and set it down on the night stand.

"This is Emily. She's gonna help you." Nathan softly said. I looked back over at the woman still standing in the doorway, she stared at my wounds as if she had just seen a ghost. Were they really that bad? I thought to myself.

Emily slowly walked towards me and knelt down to get a better look at my wounds. "My goodness child what happened to you.." she quietly said as she touched my arm, I flinched at her touch making her pull her hand away.

"I..I don't know.." Lies. I knew exactly what happened, but it still couldn't process through my mind, and I was to afraid to tell anyone.

Kenneths words kept replaying in my mind. "Ill kill you if you even think about trying to escape."  Was this something he was actually capable of? I don't know but I don't want to find out either.

I looked over in the mirror across my bedroom and looked at my tear staind face. My once bright blue eyes, were now dark and full of fear. I couldn't help but cry as I stared at myself in the mirror. Streaks of blood covering numerous parts of my body, and bruises darkening on my arms and neck.

Emily quickly began digging through her bag searching for any supplies she would need. I watched as she pulled out multiple small towels, bandages , creams, hydrogen peroxide, and rubbing alcohol.

As she began tending to my wounds I hissed in pain as she blotted a towel soaked in hydrogen peroxide on my open cuts.

I looked over towards Nathan who was sitting in a chair next to my bed, his eyes full of worry as he kept glancing at me. Could he be worried about me? He barely knows me, so I doubt it, maybe there's something else bothering him.

I looked back down to Emily who was gently rubbing a cream onto the deeper cut on my leg. "w-what is that?" I ask her.

"It's numbing cream. Your definitely going to need stitches on this cut."

I've never had stitches before so this worried me, especially since I wasn't in a hospital, being treated by a lady that I didn't even know if she actually a doctor or not.

"Where's the bathroom? I'd like to wash my hands again before I continue." I pointed her in the direction of the bathroom that was connected to my door. I watched as she got up and walked into the bathroom closing the door behind her.

"This is probably going to hurt like a bitch even with the numbing cream, so if you need you can grab my arm if you need." Nathan said as he scooted the chair closer to my bed. I stared at his arm, a sleeve of tattoos going from his wrist up. I studied them for a moment. "I think I can manage. That wont be nessasary so just puty your arm back."
