Chapter 10

Nathan had just taken me to breakfast and now we were walking up the entrance of the school. I had stayed the night in his bed, and when I woke up I was confused on where I was for a second until I looked over and noticed Nathan sleeping next to me. I cant lie, he is hot. He looked adorable when he was asleep, he was relaxed.

As we approached the doors to the school he opened the door and held it for me. When I walked in I immediately felt everyone's eyes on me. I looked around and noticed my friends, they looked like there eyes were about to pop out of their head and they had their jaws to the floor.

I could think of one reason why and hes tall with grey eyes and dark hair. I felt this coming already. I knew walking around with Nathan would bring a lot of attention.

I looked back at Nathan who was walking right behind me. He stopped when he noticed I was looking at him. "What's wrong?" He asked. "Nothing, your just bringing a lot of attention to us."

"Is that a problem though? This is how people act almost everytime I walk into a room, they just aren't as dramatic." He let out a soft chuckle that warmed my heart.

"I gotta get to class but I can drive you home after school if you want."

"That be great, as long as you actually take me back to my house." I said. "Of course." he said with a smirk on his face. He walked away from me and I walked over to my friends who still looked like they had just seen a ghost.

"Are y'all okay?" I asked as I approached them. "W..w..what just happened." Kaylee squeaked. "What do you mean?"

"What do you mean?! You just walked in with Nathan fucking Hernandez."

"Oh yeah, he gave me a ride last night and bought me breakfast this morning."

The girl's eyes just got wider. "Did you stay the night at his house? Are you wearing his clothes?" Landreigh asked.

"Uh..yes and yes." I quietly said. "and Cassadie before you say something, no we didn't do it." Cassadie glanced at me with a smirk. "Sureee." I glared at her before she could say anything else. "Jeez I'm just joking..."

The bell rang and we made our way to our classes. When I made it to math I again hesitated before going in. When I walked in I sat in my desk ignoring the fact that Justin was sitting behind me.

This time he didn't talk to me, so I was relieved. I let out a breath I didnt even know I had been holding.

When the class was over I got out of my desk and swung my bag over my shoulders. As I was about to walk out Mrs.Teddy stopped me. "Adelyn come here please." I slowly turned around and walked over to wear she was sitting behind her desk typing away on her computer. "Yes Mrs. Teddy?"

"You left so quickly yesterday that I didn't get a chance to give you your missing work." She dug into her desk before pulling out a small stack of papers. "Heres everything you missed, including the notes." I reached out and she handed them to me. "Is everything okay dear?" She asked.

"Yes mam, Im doing fine actually." I said and then walked out of her classroom. I made my way to the rest of my classes before lunch and when I walked in the cafeteria I felt eyes on me again. People were whispering to their friends while glancing over at me.

I looked around me to see if Nathan was around me but he wasn't. I continued down the cafeteria towards my friends. " hey what's everyone talking about?" I asked.

"There talking about you and 'loverboy'." Brooklyn said and let out a giggle. "Im sorry, I'm confused, who?"

"You know, Nathan." Kaylee said. "We aren't dating, he just picked me up cause it was raining." I said.
