Inside the house, Lydia walks up to the attic door. "Don't worry. I locked the door", said Adam. As they try to bar the door shut, the TV comes on and shows a commercial of Beetlejuice dressed himself as a cowboy riding on a cow and roping in loops until he said on screen. "Havin' trouble with the livin'? You're tired of havin' your home violated? You wanna get rid of them pesky livin' critters once and for all? Well, come on down and see me, folks. Cause I'm the afterlife's leadin' bio-exorcist. Yes, sirree! Come on down here and I wanna tell ya, I'll do anything! I'll scare 'em real bad. The point is, I'll do anything to get your business. Hell! I'll possess myself if I gotta! Yo! I got demons runnin' all through me. Come on down here and see it. And hey, if you act now, you get a free demon possession with every exorcism. You can't beat that, can ya? Bring the little partners. Hell. We've got plenty of snakes for 'em to play with, no problem at all. (His name flashes on the screen) So, say it once, say it twice, third time's a charm. And remember... I'll eat anything you want me to eat. I'll swallow anything you want me to swallow. So, come on down, I'll... chew on a dog". He howls like a dog until the TV turns off. The two go back to trying to keep the door shut. Adam uses a wire to push the key out

"We need some help", said Adam "I read something in this book about emergencies." Here it is. He reads the handbook out loud. 'In case of an emergency, draw a door.' Adam uses chalk to draw a door on the wall. "Draw a door?" enquired Barbara. "I don't know why we keep looking in that stupid book. Maybe we should try that Beetle guy." Adam then draws a doorknob on the door. "You didn't actually think that was gonna work, did you?" asked Barbara. "Ah-ha!" exclaimed Adam.' Knock three times.' He knocks on the door three times and the wall opens up. Lydia is peering through the keyhole and is aghast when she sees a green light emanating from the room. It opens a portal to the Neitherworld.

In the study room, Charles is looking at a bird from the house. "Dad?" said Lydia. "Charles startled until he sees her daughter. "Can't you see I'm relaxing?" asked Charles. "I wanna tell you what I saw", said Lydia. "What is the point of my coming here if you people won't let me relax?", asked Charles Pumpkin, sweetheart, go help your mother." "Maybe you can relax in a haunted house, but I can't", said Lydia. Charles looks out the window at a building "Nice building. Bad roof. Good parking", he said.
