Tuesday Week 9
Akira's POV
I sigh in the car ride. My owners haven't even talked about KPS. It's really strange. Today's my fourth last day at DSP. I'm really sad. "Akira, why you looking so sad?" One of my owner's ask me as they drop me off at school. "Have a great day, sweetie kitty." Sweetie kitty. That's a new one, what happened to Aki? My sass doesn't match sweetie kitty although. I walk into school. I've got musical practice first thing. Why am I even still in it? The role needs to be recasted, I won't be here in term 4 for the musical. I need to talk to Mr Ajax. I walk down the halls, not seeing any of my friends and over to the drama hall, the big drama hall. I walk in with a thud to the door. Everyone else is already there. "Nice of you to finally join us." Amber says sarcastically. It's as if Mr Ajax doesn't even hear her because he turns around and is smiling. "Hey Akira! You're not late! Just on time. We're doing the Set It Off scene. "Mr Ajax, is the role of Mal getting recasted?" Blueberry asks him before I can. She looks at her as if she's crazy, "what? Of course not! Why would you think that, Blueberry?" Why would she think the opposite? "Akira's moving to KPS though." Cosmo saysMr Ajax breaks out into laughter. "No! She's not!" That's not true! I am. Everyone looks surprised at Mr Ajax. "But Mr Ajax, I am moving to KPS." He laughs. "No you're not, when I heard about this fiasco weeks ago, I got the school to contact you're owners. You were never moving." What?! Really? Is it really true. My heart skips a beat, this is the best thing I've heard in the last couple of weeks. I'm not moving? I'm not moving! This is great news! The best I could ever hear! Except now what am I going to do? How do I tell EVERYONE I'm not moving? It's literally on the newspaper talking about me, my involvements, what I do, about me, my achievements, how I'm leaving, ya da ya da. This is a real hard mess to clean up. How on earth shall I do it?! I quickly whipped out my phone and texted my friends.
Akira: GUYS! GUESS WHAT!"
Coco: What?
Akira: I'm not moving to KPS!
Izzy: omg yay! How'd you find out? Just now?
Akira: the school contacted my owners and they confirmed I'm not moving!
Katerina: That's great Akira! We won't have to miss you so much!
Akira: can you guys tell as much students as you can? Especially Arthur
Paisley: of course Akira, anything for our loyal and amazing best friend. :)
Akira: thank you all so much!
Coco: no problem, girl. Thanks for not moving!
I feel so happy! So overjoyed! My life is way more happy!
At recess
I'm so happy to go to my friends now. We all get out at the same time out of the drama hall. There's a big crowd with almost every student outside waiting. What's going on. They all light up when they see us. "AKIRA'S NOT MOVING HARRAH! AKIRA'S NOT MOVING HARRAH!" They chant. They pick me up and carry me and throw me in the air. Jeez, all I did was find out I wasn't moving. I didn't know everyone cared this much. This may be one of the best days of my life! What could possibly go wrong?! When I'm put down, I get a whole group hug from my friends, then form Arthur. "I'm not going anywhere! Woo!" I exclaim and everyone starts to clap. This is so amazing!
