"Are you ready to go hun?" mom asks. I nod. We're finally moving away from New York. Don't get me wrong, It's not too bad here, but I need to get away from it.
We're moving over to Tennessee. I'm super excited. And it's to a ranch! My top priority is to start a horse rescue.
I've had lessons for a month now. I like anglo- arab's. I've been planning on what I want my first horse to be. A grey anglo- arab gelding.
Mom and I load the last boxes into the car and drive off. I say good-bye to the city I grew up in one last time.
In about an hour, we're out of New York. And once we are, I drift to sleep.
----------------------------------------------
"Haley, wake up!" my mom says. My eyes flutter open to see that it's nearly midnight.
"Are we here?" I asks.
"No, but we are almost there and I wanted you to be awake to see this." She says. I roll my eyes at her. About a minute later, we pull into a driveway to see a big house and a big barn.
I squeal in excitement. I hop out of the car and into the house. My room is upstairs. It's so big and pretty.
I love it. I run back outside to help mom with the boxes. The moving truck parks right behind us. It's about 2 a.m. by the time we are finished unloading things.
I put on my pj's and go to bed. Mom said that we can start to look for a horse tomorrow. I'm so excited!
