dedicated to arlet_hemmings because i sent her the update earlier today and she gave me some input . she helped me out by seeing my story in a different point of view and that's pretty useful! hope you guys enjoy this as much as she did >:)

I quickly threw something on that seemed party appropriate.  I sported a black halter-top crop top with matching black tight pencil skirt and black sandal-style heels. To keep them from waiting, I quickly did my makeup while simultaneously curling my hair. My final makeup was fairly minimal with natural eyes and slightly winged eyeliner and a nude matte lip color. I stepped out of my room to see Luke and Calum drinking beers out of the fridge in the kitchen. The click of the door shutting attracted Calum's attention. His mouth slightly parted and his eyes got a bit wider.

"Holy shit, Amber." He sat his beer down and took a few steps towards me. "You look perfect."

"Thanks, Cal." I smiled and looked over at Luke who was also looking me up and down. "Are we ready to go?" Luke quickly nodded. "Where are we going anyway?" I looked back at Calum.

"Do you remember meeting Ashton? He's having a party tonight. Should be a pretty good one, but  we're gonna go there first and see if it's worth staying." Calum grabbed his beer and quickly finished it. "Let's get going then." He nodded towards the door. I put my lipstick and my phone in a small clutch and followed after him.

We stepped out of Luke's car onto the front lawn of a relatively large house. There were a few random people sitting and talking on the lawn. I followed Luke and Calum into the house. It wasn't nearly as packed as the other party I came to with Calum, but it definitely wasn't empty.

Calum brought his mouth close to my ear. "We're gonna go say hey to Ashton so he know's we're here."  I nodded and followed. There was some Drake playing as we walked through. We came to this big group of people sitting around. Some on the couch with people on their laps, some were sitting on the floor. Luke walked up to a guy with a black-haired girl straddling him, making out. She sat up to reveal Ashton. Luke started speaking and pointed back at Calum and I. Ashton gave us a slight nod and called us over.

"You guys together?" He said. The girl on his lap turned to look at us. She was gorgeous, like all the other women here. I definitely don't fit in here.

"No dude. We just live together." Calum shrugged. The girl on Ashton's lap gave us a weird look.

"You live together, but you aren't together?" He furrowed his eyebrows.

Calum awkwardly laughed. "Yeah." Ashton cocked his head and brought his head backwards, signalling for Calum to come closer. Ashton whispered something in his ear and Calum stood back up. He half-smiled and his tongue covered half of his teeth as his head was slightly cocked to the side. He slowly started to nod, and then it got a little faster. "Y-Yeah. Yeah. That sounds good" I suspiciously squinted my eyes at Calum, then Ashton. I feel like there's something I'm missing here. "I'll see you later, man." Calum said to Ashton.

"Alright, there's drinks in the fridge and condoms in the bedside table in the bedroom." Ashton said and laughed. Calum turned around and brought his hand to my back. We walked away with Luke following close behind. We walked together until we made it into the kitchen and Calum grabbed a Corona from the fridge and handed it to Luke. He grabbed one himself.

"Do you want something?" Calum asked, holding the door open.

"I wanna know what the hell that just was." I said harshly. Calum shut the fridge.
