When we came back from grocery shopping, we put everything away and got ready to head back out.
Saylor's helping Sofia get ready in the bathroom, so I'm changing in our room. 'Our', I like the thought of that. I decided on just a black basic triangle bikini, the bottoms might be a little too tiny, but nothing crazy. I put on the top and struggle clasping the back, my arms are starting to feel like noodles. A small nock follows on the door, "Dani, are you dressed?" HA! My savior. "No, but please come in I need help."
She slowly opens the door, she looks me up and down and I smirk when she finally reaches my face. "Like what you see?" She rolls her eyes. "Can you please help me clasp the back? I swear it's working against me." She chuckles and walks over, I turn around while holding the fabric down on my chest. I can feel her warm hands on my back and it sends shivers down my spine. She clasps it like it's no big deal and gives me a small kiss on my back when she's done.
I turn around to face her, "thank you", she nods and swallows while trying to keep her eyes on mine. It's very entertaining to see her like this, because she doesn't know what to do with herself. "I- um, you look- well, you look beautiful, Dani."
I give her the biggest smile in return, "thank you, pretty girl." She smiles shyly and starts getting her stuff.I pull a dress over my bikini and get my beach bag ready. Once we're all done, we head to the beach.
---
We've been here for an hour or two now, the beach is beautiful. The sound of crashing waves and moving water is as peaceful as it gets. I'm laying on a lounging chair trying to tan, but I get so bored so fast. Saylor's been helping Sofia build a sandcastle and it's the cutest thing to watch. She hasn't taken of her shorts and shirt though, which I'm guessing is because of her scars. She's beautiful nevertheless, but I know how insecure they make her feel.
I see her glancing at me for the 50th time now and raise my eyebrow at her. She blushes and looks away. Sofia's in a zone, so she doesn't even notice when I call Saylor over to me. She brushes off the sand as she walks over and sits down on the chair next to me. "So get this, I'm just laying here trying to get a tan right, and there's this girl who just can't keep staring at me." She smiles, but then turns her smile into a frown. "Really? That's a little stalker-ish. Did you tell her to stop?"
I shake my head, "Nah, I didn't, she's really pretty, I don't mind her staring." "Oh really now, here I thought you only had eyes for me." She says as she's starting to stand up. I grab her hand before she could and pull her next to me. She lays down next to me so we're face to face."I do only have eyes for you."
"Huh, interesting to know. I'll keep it in mind."
"Idiot."
"That's not nice!" She says while giving me a slight push.
"You know what's not nice, staring at me and then not kissing me. That's not nice."
"Because you're like breathtaking, you're literally right in front of me wearing nothing but a bikini, which is too small may I add, and I don't know how to function. And everyone else is staring at you too." She takes a deep breathe and sighs.
"I'm not worried about everyone else staring, as long as you are."
"But you're beautiful, I'll say hot even, and I'm just, I don't know, me."
"Is that why your clothes are still on?"
"You know?"
"Of course I know, silly. You don't have to tell me for me to know."
"I don't want anyone to see. Especially not next to you."
"Saylor. You are beautiful and screw anyone who judges you for the scars you have. I'm not judging you, I never did and I never will. You didn't even know I knew. They don't make you any less beautiful. Or should I say 'hot'?"
She laughs and makes a sour face while shaking her head. "No, please don't."She sits up and slowly takes her clothes off.
"You won't be the only one staring now. God, Saylor, you're beautiful." She shrugs her shoulders and tries to cover herself with her arms. I grab her arms and pull her back to me.
"There will be none of that, you look so incredibly good I don't even know what to say or do." I cup her cheeks, "are you sure you want to kiss me right now in public?" I smile, "I'd kiss you anywhere Saylor Martin." I lean in to kiss her, and after some small hesitation she does the same thing.
