Bonus: Elyse's Baby Prep

As the months passed, the couple continued to prepare for the arrival of their second child. Mannon and Hyunjin’s home was filled with the sounds of laughter, love, and the occasional chaos of life with a toddler. Elyse’s excitement only grew as the days went on, and Mannon couldn’t help but smile at how ready their little girl was to become a big sister.

One afternoon, Mannon was at the nursery, putting together the finishing touches on the baby’s room. Hyunjin had set up a small crib next to the window, and the walls were decorated with soft pastel colors. Elyse had insisted on choosing the baby’s favorite stuffed animals, and the shelves were filled with soft toys in the shape of animals, all hand-picked by their little girl.

Elyse came running in, her hands holding a small, knitted blanket she had made herself. “Look, Mama! I made this for the baby!” she said proudly, her eyes wide with excitement.

Mannon crouched down to her daughter’s level, taking the blanket and running her fingers over the soft yarn. “This is beautiful, Elyse. You’re going to be such a wonderful big sister.”

Elyse beamed, a grin stretching across her face. “I can’t wait to hold the baby! And I’m going to teach them how to dance just like you!”

Mannon’s heart melted at the thought of Elyse and the new baby growing up together. “You’ll be the best teacher, I’m sure of it.”

As the day went on, Mannon couldn’t help but feel grateful for the family they had built. She was surrounded by love, excitement, and the knowledge that she would never be alone.

Hyunjin came into the room, placing a gentle kiss on her forehead. “How’s everything coming along?”

Mannon smiled at him, her hand resting on her belly. “Perfect,” she said softly. “Everything is perfect.”

And with that, she knew that whatever the future held, they would face it together—stronger than ever, and more in love than she could ever imagine.
