The Stalker Strikes Again

The apartment had been relatively quiet for the past few days. After the whirlwind of photoshoots, surprises, and Hyunjin’s unexpected confession through song, Mannon was finally beginning to feel a semblance of peace. Her mind wasn’t racing as it used to. She was starting to get a handle on the balance between her career and her personal life, even with the added pressure of being in the spotlight.

But just as she was beginning to feel comfortable, things started to shift again.

It began like any other ordinary day. The guys had just finished breakfast, and Mannon was about to head out for a meeting. As she was about to grab her purse, she noticed a package sitting on the kitchen table.

At first, she thought it was just another fan gift, a thoughtful gesture she’d gotten used to over the years. But as she got closer and saw the note attached, her stomach dropped.

"If I find you again, I will force you to marry me, and we’ll have $ex four times a day."

The words were familiar, this isn't the first time she got the exact same note...but it still send a cold chill down her spine, it was scrawled in dark, bold letters. The note was unsettling enough, but what truly made her blood run cold was the package itself.

Inside, there was a pair of earrings—gold, delicate, but clearly expensive. They looked like something out of a high-end jewelry store, but there was something off about them. The feeling in her gut was telling her something she didn’t want to acknowledge.

She grabbed the box carefully, clutching it like a ticking time bomb. Her hands were shaking as she opened it, revealing a pair of intricate gold earrings. There was no card, no indication of who had sent them—just the note.

The guys were still in the living room, having their usual post-breakfast banter. But as Mannon walked in, holding the package, her voice trembled, even though she tried to keep her composure.

“Who sent this?” she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

The guys stopped talking instantly, noticing the seriousness in her tone. Bang Chan, who had been reading his messages on his phone, furrowed his brows. He stood up, immediately stepping towards her.

“Is everything okay?” he asked, his voice laced with concern.

Mannon didn’t say anything at first. She just handed him the note. Chan read it, his face hardening as his grip on the paper tightened. He was quiet for a long moment before looking up at Mannon.

"Who keep's sending you this stuff?” Chan’s tone was colder than she had expected, a hint of protective anger beneath his calm exterior.

She shook her head, her heart pounding. “I don’t know. But I’m guessing...it might be the guy who followed me when i went to the...um. Whoever’s sending this… they’re fixated.”

Hyunjin, who had been sitting quietly on the couch, stood up and moved closer to Mannon. His expression was unreadable, but the tension radiating off of him was palpable. “What’s in the box?” he asked, his voice low.

Mannon hesitated, then opened the package fully, revealing the earrings. She could see Hyunjin’s eyes narrow slightly, but he didn’t say anything. He reached out to gently touch her arm.

“Are you okay?” he asked, his concern evident.

Before she could respond, Felix leaned in from across the room, his voice cutting through the tension. “Do you think it’s from a fan? Or… someone else?”

Mannon didn’t want to say it, but the truth was, it didn’t feel like something a fan would send. The note, the tone—it felt personal, too personal. “I don’t know,” she whispered. “But I don’t think it’s a fan. Whoever this is... they’re dangerous.”

The room went silent again, everyone processing the weight of her words.

Chan was the first to speak again, his tone stern. “I’ll have the security team look into it. Don’t open anything else without me there, okay?”

Mannon nodded slowly, but she wasn’t sure how much it would help. The truth was, she had no idea how deep this obsession had gone. Whoever this was had been watching her for far too long, and she knew it wasn’t over. If anything, it was just beginning.

As they continued to discuss the situation, Mannon felt a sinking feeling in her chest. She had faced intense moments before in her life, but this was different. This wasn’t just about her career or the fame that came with it. This was about her safety, her peace, and the people she cared about.

That night, after a tense few hours of discussions with the team, Mannon found herself sitting alone in her room. The rest of the guys were in the living room, trying to unwind after a long day, but Mannon couldn’t relax. The earrings sat on her desk, a constant reminder of the threat hanging over her.

Suddenly, her phone buzzed on her bed, the screen lighting up with a message from Hyunjin.

"Are you okay? I’m here if you need anything."

Mannon stared at the message for a moment, her heart doing a strange flip in her chest. She could feel the connection between them growing stronger with each passing day. But right now, she wasn’t sure if she could lean on him. She didn’t want to drag him into this mess.

She hesitated, but then, after a few moments of quiet contemplation, she typed back.

"I don’t know. I’m just scared. I don’t know who to trust anymore."

The message was honest, raw, and vulnerable—something Mannon rarely allowed herself to be.

A few seconds later, Hyunjin replied.

"You can trust me. You’ve got me. I’m not going anywhere."

Mannon felt the warmth of his words seep through the screen, and for the first time in what felt like forever, she allowed herself to believe it. She didn’t have to face this alone.

As the days went by, the tension only grew. The package was just the tip of the iceberg, and they all knew it. The stalker was back, and this time, they weren’t going to stop until they had her.

And as much as Mannon wanted to ignore it, deep down, she knew this was only the beginning.
