The Bhang-Hwang family decided to escape their busy lives with a vacation to Italy, a destination they had always dreamed of visiting.
Manon strolled through the cobblestone streets of Florence, hand in hand with Hyunjin while Elyse skipped ahead, pointing excitedly at gelato shops and street artists.
“Mommy, look!” Elyse cried, dragging them toward a painter creating a stunning portrait.
“Do you want to try, princess?” Hyunjin asked, crouching beside her.
Elyse nodded eagerly, and the painter, charmed by her enthusiasm, handed her a brush. As Elyse painted, a small crowd gathered, admiring her budding talent.
“She’s fearless,” Manon said, leaning into Hyunjin.
“She gets that from you,” he replied, kissing her cheek.
Later that evening, they dined at a quaint rooftop restaurant overlooking the Tuscan hills. With the sun setting in the background, Manon clinked glasses with Hyunjin, Elyse sipping her juice happily.
“To us,” Hyunjin said, his gaze filled with love.
