"Alice! You gotta get going on these deliveries!" My grungy old boss yells at me from his office. If only he actually tried to so something he'd understand it's not that easy.

"I know, I know! I'm going," I quickly rush out, untying my apron and throwing it on the back counter.

I quickly grab the two bags full of pizza, in order to deliver them to their destinations.

"Crap," I sigh, looking up at the night sky that's causing a small downpour right now. There never really is a rainy season for California.

I quickly run and jump into the shitty company car and get ready to drive off, relieved to be out of there. I just want to go home man.

Almost ten minutes pass before I reach the first destination, but it wasn't just an ordinary home like I thought it would be, no, it was recording studio.

I recognized this building because my friend's dad used to work here, and she brought me along one time so I can experience "something exciting" (but I mean it was pretty exciting).

Hesitantly, I grab the top bag with the two pizzas inside, and run inside, using the pizzas as a coverage for my head.

"Hi, I'm not sure if I got the right address?" I nervously chuckle, looking at the lady sitting behind the desk. Her hair up in a bun, a nice red blazer on with the blu tooth head set on her.

She laughs, still making me nervous, but I laugh along, "it must be from Richard's kids. If you take the elevator up another floor, you'll see sound booth 203. They'll be in there."

I look at her for a second. She's actually letting me go up there on my own? Geez, I remember it took me forever just to get permission to get through the last time I came here.

I followed her advice and used the elevator to take me to level 2, room 203.

As soon as I entered in the space, I found the room with ease.

The door was closed, but there was no sign saying recording was in progress. Should I knock?

I decided to knock, but after waiting there for a minute or two, I decided to let myself in. I still had another delivery to make.

"Keep on whispering in my ear

Tell me all the things that I wanna hear

Cause it's true, that's what I like about you" a tall blonde guy sang from inside the recording booth.

At the board sat another man, looked fairly young from how slim he was, no offense.

But the guy singing inside the booth, man what a voice he had. Especially for no music actually being heard from outside. A nice raw, yet talented voice.

"Ahem" I awkwardly cough.

The man sitting at the sound board turned out to be a handsome guy, around my age. My heart fluttered.

"I'm sorry," I chuckle, awkwardly again, "there wasn't a sign on the door."

"Nah, it's cool. We were just messing around." He chuckles, a giant smile forming on his face. Oh man.

He had dark brown eyes and short curly black hair. And when he smiled, small creases formed by his eyes and on his cheeks. And he was tall too, has to be at least about 6 feet.

I looked back into the booth, where I didn't see the blonde kid anymore.

My eyes then spotted the door opening up, and there he was, walking out, and making my heart jump out of my chest.
