The next morning, soft rays of sunlight filtered through the sheer curtains of Yuvraj's room, gently illuminating the space. Kritika stirred first, her lashes fluttering as she woke up to a warmth she wasn’t accustomed to. It took her a moment to realize she was nestled in Yuvraj’s arms, her head resting against his chest, his heartbeat steady and calming

She blinked, her cheeks turning a soft pink as the realization of their proximity hit her. Yuvraj’s arm was draped protectively around her waist, holding her close as if even in sleep, he couldn’t bear to let her go. She shifted slightly, trying not to wake him, but the movement caused him to sti

His arms tightened around her for a moment before his eyes opened, and when he saw her looking up at him, a lazy smile spread across his face "Good morning, Mrs. Yuvraj" he said, his voice husky from sleep, sending a shiver down her spine

Her cheeks flushed deeper at the way he said her name, so intimate and tender "Good morning" she whispered, her voice shy as she tried to look anywhere but into his intense gaze

Yuvraj chuckled softly, noticing her nervousness "Why so shy, meri jaan? You weren’t this shy when you clung to me yesterday" he teased, his tone playful but his eyes warm

She gasped softly, lightly hitting his chest "Yuvraj! Stop teasing me"

He laughed, catching her hand in his "I’m not teasing. I’m just stating facts meri jaan" He gently brushed a strand of hair from her face, his touch lingering on her cheek "You look beautiful in the morning, you know that?"

Kritika bit her lip, her heart racing at his words "You’re impossible" she murmured, trying to hide her flustered expression

"And you’re adorable" he replied leaning closer " You don't know how much i had manifested us like this, waking up to see you in my arms, I could wake up like this every day and never get tired of it"

His words melted her hesitation, and for a moment, she allowed herself to relax. She looked up at him, a small smile playing on her lips "Thank you… for everything, Yuvi. I don’t know what I would’ve done without you"

His expression softened, and he cupped her cheek gently "You don’t have to thank me, meri jaan. You’re mine, and I’ll always protect you. That’s a promise"

Their gazes locked, the world around them fading as they lost themselves in each other. Yuvraj leaned closer, his forehead resting against hers as his hand intertwined with hers

Yuvraj smiled, watching Kritika’s flustered face as she tried to avoid his gaze. Her cheeks were painted a lovely shade of pink, and her lips quivered slightly as she attempted to form words. He couldn’t resist leaning in closer, brushing a strand of her hair away from her face

"You’re so beautiful when you’re shy" he whispered, his deep voice sending a shiver down her spine

"Yuvraj..." she mumbled, her voice barely audible, her hands nervously clutching the bedsheet

Before she could say more, he tilted her chin gently and pressed his lips against hers in a soft, lingering kiss. Kritika froze at first, her eyes wide, but the tenderness of the moment melted her hesitation. Her eyes fluttered closed as she let herself sink into the kiss, feeling his warmth and his love

When he pulled back, he smirked at her flushed face and downcast eyes "Now that’s how you should greet your husband in the morning" he teased, his tone full of playful mischief

Kritika gasped, her eyes snapping up to meet his "Yuvraj! Let me go" she stammered, her hands pushing lightly against his chest "We’re getting late, and... and your parents might be waiting for us downstairs"
