I strolled out of the kitchen, cradling a steaming cup of coffee in my hands. The weekend had been a welcome respite from the chaos of our daily lives. I was lost in thought, savoring the peaceful silence when, before I could react, I collided with Taehyung.

The scalding coffee spilled all over his crisp white shirt, and I couldn’t help but let out an uncontrollable laugh. The sight of his once-perfect shirt ruined was simply too comical to resist.

But the amusement was short-lived. His eyes narrowed, his jaw tightening in annoyance.

"Seriously?" Taehyung grumbled.

I quickly composed myself, forcing a more serious expression.

"I—I’m so sorry. It was an accident," I stammered.

"An accident?" His voice was sharp, the annoyance clear. "You’re always so careless. Can’t you just watch where you’re going for once?"

I rolled my eyes, the frustration bubbling up inside me.

"It was just a mistake, Taehyung. Don’t make such a big deal out of it."

"A big deal?" His tone was cold. "You’ve ruined my favorite shirt. Now I’ll have to waste my Saturday afternoon getting it cleaned."

"Oh, poor you," I said, the sarcasm dripping from my words. "Your life is just so hard."

He shot me a glare, his irritation evident.

"You think this is funny?" he asked, his voice laced with anger. "You think you can just laugh and joke your way out of every situation?"

I stood my ground, not backing down. "No, Taehyung, I just think you’re overreacting. It’s just a shirt."

"Just a shirt?" His eyes darkened. "You have no idea what this shirt means to me."

I raised an eyebrow, intrigued despite myself. "Oh? Do tell."

He didn’t answer, his gaze darkening further as he snapped, "Just get out of my sight."

I ignored his glare and walked away, leaving him standing there fuming. As I entered the bedroom, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of satisfaction. It was about time someone ruined his precious white shirt.

The argument lingered in my mind, but I was determined not to let it ruin my day. Just as I was placing the mug on the table, I heard the bedroom door open. He walked in, his shirt still stained with coffee, his eyes blazing with anger.

"You think you're funny, don’t you?" Taehyung’s voice was low, dangerous.

I feigned innocence. "What are you talking about?"

"Don’t play dumb with me, darling," he snapped, his tone dark. "You know exactly what you did."

"Oh, you mean the coffee incident?" I said with a shrug. "That was just an accident."

"An accident?" He scoffed, his jaw clenched. "You’re always so careless. Can’t you just be more careful for once?"

"I’m not that careless," I shot back. "And even if I was, it’s not like I did it on purpose."
