As the elevator ascended to Arjun's apartment, he and Kavya were lost in the moment, sharing a passionate kiss. The rest of the world seemed to fade away as they wrapped their arms around each other, their hearts beating in sync.

Unbeknownst to them, the elevator doors suddenly slid open, revealing a small figure standing in the doorway. Nishi, a sweet little girl who lived in the same apartment building, looked up at Arjun and Kavya with wide eyes, a mischievous grin playing on her lips.

Startled, Arjun and Kavya quickly broke apart, their faces flushing with embarrassment.

Kavya tried to compose herself, smoothing down her dishevelled hair, while Arjun cleared his throat awkwardly.

Nishi, with a twinkle in her eye, innocently asked, "What were you two doing?" Her question was accompanied by a playful giggle, making Arjun and Kavya exchange nervous glances.

"What were you two doing?" Nishi asked, her voice filled with innocence and curiosity.

Arjun knelt to Nishi's level, trying to find the right words. "We were just... wishing happy Diwali with affection," he said, his tone slightly awkward.

Kavya chimed in, trying to explain further. "Yes, Nishi, we were just showing each other some affection. It's nice to show love to people we care about."

Nishi looked at them with a look of understanding, a knowing smile on her face. "Like a hug, but with your lips?" she asked innocently.

Arjun and Kavya shared a look, amused by Nishi's straightforward observation. "Yes, something like that," Arjun replied, trying not to laugh. kavya gives him a look "Come on, Arjun. she is a kid"

Kavya smiled warmly as she handed Nishi a small box of chocolates, delighted to see the little girl's eyes light up with joy. Nishi eagerly opened the box and exclaimed, "Wow, thank you, Kavya did! You're the best!"

Kavya blushed at the praise, feeling touched by Nishi's genuine appreciation. As the elevator continued its ascent, Nishi turned to Kavya with a mischievous twinkle in her eye and confided, "You know, Arjun can be so silly sometimes. He always forgets to water the plants, and he hears loud music! And told lie to my home tutor that I wasn'tsick. I was playing on the lawn.."

Kavya couldn't help but burst out laughing at Nishi's candid remarks, her laughter filling the small space. Arjun, standing beside her, crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow, clearly irked by Nishi's complaints and Kavya's amusement.

The elevator came to a halt as it reached Nishi's floor. Kavya tousled Nishi's hair affectionately and said, "Don't worry, Nishi. I'll make sure to keep Arjun in line." Nishi giggled in response, waving goodbye as she exited the elevator.

As the doors closed behind her, Arjun turned to Kavya with a mock scowl on his face. "You and Nishi against me now, huh?" he teased, trying to hide his amusement.

Kavya playfully nudged him, her eyes sparkling with laughter. "Oh, come on, Arjun. Nishi's just a kid having some fun. Besides, she's right about you.." she added with a wink.

Arjun rolled his eyes good-naturedly, unable to stay annoyed for long in the presence of Kavya's infectious smile. "Fine, fine. Let's go," he said, pressing the button for their penthouse floor.
