The next morning, the sun shone brightly over the shoreline, the waves crashing gently against the white sand.
The accommodation of the villa had gone above and beyond, setting up a massive picnic tent adorned with flowing white curtains, comfortable lounge chairs, and a long wooden table packed with a seafood feast, fresh fruit, and bottles of chilled wine and sparkling water.
The girls, energized by the ocean breeze, were buzzing with excitement as they prepared for a day of relaxation, and inevitable chaos.
Haven and her nanny, Mrs. Jeong, were already at the shore, with Haven gleefully shoveling sand into a bucket. Jhiyo crouched beside her, sculpting a modest sandcastle base.
"Is this okay, Haven? Should we add a moat?" Jhiyo asked, her hands caked in sand.
Haven giggled and nodded enthusiastically.
"A big moat! With shells!" Haven answered, her cerulean blue eyes sparkling.
Rosé and Sana, carrying an inflatable flamingo float, walked by, debating whether to take it into the sea or use it to annoy Jisoo.
"Float race?" Sana suggested, raising an eyebrow.
"Against who?" Rosé asked.
"Against Momo and her questionable swimming skills. I'M A MERMAID!" Sana said, pointing to Momo, who was already in the water, flailing her arms dramatically and yelling.
Jisoo, meanwhile, stood on the shore, sunglasses perched on her nose as she practiced her frisbee toss.
"You know that's not a boomerang, right?" Jeongyeon teased, joining her with a volleyball in hand.
"Just wait until I nail someone in the face with this." Jisoo retorted, smirking.
Under the shade of the picnic tent, Nayeon lounged on a beach chair, a large straw hat shielding her face. She watched her friends with a mix of amusement and exasperation.
"They're like unsupervised kids at summer camp." She muttered to Jennie, who sat beside her sipping a mimosa.
"You're one to talk. Aren't you planning to join them?" Jennie said and laughed.
"Maybe." She stood, removed her hat, and pulled off her cover-up, revealing a sleek, perfectly tailored black two-piece swimsuit that accentuated her toned figure.
The group, mid-chaos, immediately noticed.
"NAYEON! Warn us next time before you blind us with perfection!" Jisoo shouted, shielding her eyes dramatically.
Nayeon rolled her eyes but couldn't help the small smile that crept onto her lips as she strode confidently toward the water.
"Are you really swimming, or are you just trying to make us all feel inferior?" Jeongyeon teased.
"Jealousy doesn't suits you." Nayeon shot back, dipping her toes into the cool water.
After a refreshing swim, the group decided it was time for a beach volleyball match. Dividing into two teams, they haphazardly chose roles.
"Team Captains: Me and Jennie." Jisoo announced, immediately picking Jeongyeon for her team.
"Rosé, you're with me," Jennie said, pointing.
"Why not me?" Sana whined.
"Because you're a distraction!" Jennie replied.
Sana gasped in mock offense. "I'll show you distraction!"
The game was chaotic from the start. Momo missed every serve, Sana kept diving unnecessarily to "save" the ball, and Rosé accidentally spiked the ball straight into Jisoo's face.
