NAYEON'S POV

The next morning, I was still trying to process everything that had happened between me and Hans.

After a night of emotional and physical reconnection, I was feeling a mix of emotions, relief, love, confusion, and, well, a little bit of fear.

We've gotten back together in the most intense way possible, and it had felt like the right thing to do.

But I hadn't expected my damn friends to barge in the next morning and catch us in the middle of, well, a very private moment.

As I slowly woke up, she was still sleeping beside me, her arms wrapped around me protectively.

I smiled softly, gazing at her for a moment before realizing that my friends were due to arrive any minute.

My phone buzzed with messages, first from Jeongyeon, then from Jennie, Mina, and the rest of the crew. They were all coming over, and I hadn't exactly planned for this kind of surprise visit.

"I swear, every time I think I have my life together, it all falls apart again." I groaned as I tried to carefully extricate myself from her grip.

But she just grinned sleepily, pulling me back in the bed.

"Where do you think you're going?" She murmured, her voice heavy with sleep, her arms tightening around me.

"I've got company coming over, Hans." I said, trying to gently free myself.

"I don't think they'll appreciate us still—" I cut myself off, realizing the situation.

"Still what? Oh, you mean this? They'll be fine. You've got nothing to be embarrassed about." She smirked, clearly enjoying every moment of my flustered state.

"I do have something to be embarrassed about but I guess we'll just have to survive this together." I mumbled,

She chuckled softly, still lying there, completely at ease. But I, now fully aware that my friends were almost at the door, scrambled to get dressed. I quickly put on my robe and rushed to the bathroom, but not before hearing the sound of the front door opening. I froze.

"Oops. I'll just—" I mumbled and quickly ran to the front door, barefoot and in my robe, realizing just how unprepared I was for the chaos that was about to unfold.

"Go get 'em, tiger." I stopped at the bedroom door when i heard her.

I turned to her, she's already in her pajamas, following me, clearly entertained by my frantic state.

"Put some shirt on." I said to her but she only shrugged while following me outside of my bedroom.

And that's when my friends walked in, Jennie, Mina, and Jeongyeon. They stood in the doorway for a split second before their eyes widened in shock.

"Nayeon unnie, what is happening here?" Jeongyeon gasped, staring at me with her mouth hanging open.

The other two froze, eyes darting between me and Hans then to the living room where pillows, books and flower vase scattered on the floor, their brains struggling to piece together the very unusual scene before them.

It's like, the penthouse had been robbed.

Before I could say a word, Jeongyeon was the first to speak, her voice suddenly high-pitched.

"OH MY GOD! You—you two—what are you doing?" Her eyes were glued to us.

"I—uh—I wasn't expecting you so early!" I stammered, i felt my face bright red. I quickly stepped aside to let them in, desperately trying to cover up the awkwardness of the moment.
