Today in the Glade was just another day of endless toil. I woke up before the sun was even thinking about making an appearance, which was a fantastic way to start the day.

The air was chilly, and I could hear the other Gladers groaning as they crawled out of their beds.

We gathered for our morning meeting, where we pretended to be enthusiastic about the day’s projects.

Honestly, I was just looking forward to a few hours of hard labor that would probably lead to more hard labor.

After the usual pep talk, we split into groups. I ended up with Hank(a builder who was apparently clumsy), which was both a blessing and a curse. Sure, he’s got the energy of a caffeinated rabbit, but sometimes his jokes about the Grievers are just a bit too much.

As we lugged heavy planks around, I couldn’t help but roll my eyes at his attempts to lighten the mood.

We hammered nails into wood while he tried to convince me that the Maze was just a giant escape room. Oh, and how well does he know so. Has he even entered that thing. No.

Great, just what I needed to hear while I’m sweating my life away.

When it was finally time for a break, I thought I might just pass out from exhaustion.

We sat in a circle, munching on whatever scraps we could find. I was still angry at gally, but Frypan would cook the hell out of me if i didn't act normal.

It was a lovely moment of sharing our fears and worries about the Maze, you know, the usual.

Everyone was tense, and I could see the panic in their eyes. Who wouldn’t be scared when we’re literally living in a giant death trap?

Where the hell is Minho, by the way?

What?

Why the fuck am I thinking about that.

Whatever.

The last time I saw him was when I found him leaning onto his hut walls. He was having a panic attack and I had no choice but to help him.

I have no idea why, I didn't ask him. But maybe it had to do with the maze. He's been going there too often and coming back late.

He's always stressing but no one seem to notice. And he tries to hide it aswell.

It's none of my business; yet I feel concerned.
