Siobhan sat in the dimly lit kitchen waiting for the kettle to boil. Her mind drifted back to when she and Roger first met. The way he used to make her feel special with all the extravagant gifts he'd buy, and the romantic candle lit dinners. The kettle clicked, instantly snapping Siobhan's focus back as she made her usual black coffee in her travel mug. Siobhan's thoughts wandered between the Roger that made her fall in love with him, and the Roger that held nothing but distain for her. She stood there trying to decipher what she had done and how it had all gone wrong.

As Siobhan drove to the nursery, her mind kept racing. Rogers recent behaviour had changed. Siobhan knew from experience he was planning something. Knowing something was coming caused Siobhan to feel uneasy. Not even the radio could silence her thoughts. She pulled into a parking space near the front door of the building. Sighing as she turned off the engine, Siobhan sat for a few moments in the quiet allowing the quiet and calmness to wash over her. As her mind began to clear of thoughts of Roger and fill with thoughts of Vivian, she smiled to herself as her mind filled with memories of the last eight weeks. She was amazed with how at ease she was with Viv. She calmed her in a way that no one ever had.

As Siobhan entered the nursery she was greeted by Agatha. "Siobhan." Siobhan was in a world of her own and passed by without acknowledging the woman sat behind the desk. She headed straight for the family room and closed the door behind her as she entered. She sat herself at the table busying herself with work. She quickly lost her grasp on focus as her mind drifted to thoughts of Viv.

As 9 am approached, Siobhan's heart began to race. As she heard the familiar comforting voice followed by footsteps travelling down the corridor towards her, Siobhan stood to meet Viv at the door following the familiar routine of the last few weeks. Siobhan watched Viv taking in every detail of her. Vivian turned to look at her, a look of concern washed over her face "Bon Bon what's wrong?" Siobhan suddenly feeling braver than she ever had with Viv, walked forward cupping her face before pulling her into a bruising kiss. As they separated breathlessly, Viv was surprised by the sudden bravery. "I wasn't expecting that Bon, where did that come from?" Siobhan pulled away. "I'm so sorry Viv. I shouldn't have done that. I don't know why I did that." Viv looked after Siobhan. "Bon it's okay." Siobhan had gone into a world of her own again mindlessly pacing back and forth across the floor. It wasn't until Viv touching her arm causing her to startle and grounding her, that she came back to the present. Viv was confused. "Bon what's wrong? Has anything happened?" Siobhan moved to sit on one of the couch's patting for Viv to sit beside her. Viv moved taking a seat beside Siobhan, taking her hand in her own. "Bon Bon this isn't like you. Has something happened? Has he done something?" Siobhan could hear the concern in Viv's voice. "No, nothing like that. I'm okay Viv. Please just hold me" Viv leant back against the couch allowing Siobhan to curl into her side. She pulled the blonde in closer. She knew the closeness comforted her and made her feel safe.

Siobhan's mind calmed when she was with Viv. Even the memories of Viv seemed to have a calming effect on her racing mind when she was with him. Siobhan looked up into Viv's blue grey eyes feeling a little braver again. Siobhan laced her fingers through Viv's hair pulling her forwards into another lingering passionate kiss. As they separated breathlessly, Viv rested her head against Siobhan's. "Wow Bon you're full of surprises today." Siobhan, suddenly feeling braver than ever, straddled Viv taking her by surprise. As Siobhan looked at Viv with lust in her eyes, her mind became clear on what she both wanted and needed to do. Placing a gentle kiss on Viv's lips, she took a deep breath. "I need you." Viv was stunned by the blond's boldness. She pulled her closer to rest her forehead against her own "Bon are you sure?" Siobhan gently cupped Viv's face whispering, "yes."

Viv was the first to break the silence. "Let's get out of here." Viv left first and headed for her car leaving Siobhan alone to sit with her thoughts. This was what she wanted more than anything. If she had this, she could face anything Roger was planning. Siobhan stood to leave, stopping in her tracks when she heard Marjorie talking to Agatha in the corridor. Thinking of another way out to the car park, Siobhan moved stealthily towards the side entrance checking all directions ensuring nobody was watching her. Once Siobhan was outside, she released the breath she had not even realised she was holding as her heart began to pound in her chest. She was nervous none the least, but this was what she wanted. What she needed. Making her way to Viv's car she started to calm. As she approached Viv's car smiling to herself, she instantly relaxed getting into the passenger seat.
