Hello Sunshine

"Sunshine?" Marjorie had never heard her use any terms of endearment. Aside from her and Winter saying my sweet and my love . "That is what you are. A ray of sunshine. The light that followed the darkness."

Autumn didn't really know where that came from. She chastised herself for being so vulnerable with Marjorie. This is how things go poorly. This is how you get hurt. She didn't get long to berate herself before Marjorie pulled her into a kiss. "Call me that again." Autumn giggled into the kiss realising that maybe being vulnerable with Marjorie was exactly what she needed and definitely the side Marjorie wanted to see. Breathlessly she uttered the words. "Kiss me, sunshine."

Autumn's lips were met with Marjorie's. It was a hungry kiss. One she hadn't anticipated, but she met it with equal amounts of enthusiasm and desire. She placed her hand on the back of Marjorie's head and pulled her in for a deeper kiss before breathlessly pulling away.

Autumn looked at her watch. past one in the afternoon. "Have you eaten? She already knew the answer. She knew Marjorie probably wouldn't enter that kitchen alone for awhile. The brunette sheepishly shook her head. "Okay, I need to go take care of Caddie, so how about you go pack a small bag, and you come stay with me at mine tonight?"

Marjorie nodded in agreement. As she made her way out of the lounge to go pack the bag and get ready, she stopped rather abruptly. "Beautiful, who is Caddie?" Autumn let out a chuckle. "She's my cat, sunshine. She'll be nearly out of food." As Marjorie turned and left the room, Autumn put her fingertips to her lips and uttered one singular word. "Beautiful?"

They stopped for a late lunch and made it to Autumn's around four. Autumn held her hand as they entered the house. She was actually surprised by Autumn holding her hand at the restaurant earlier. It was like seeing a whole new side of her. She was protective yet vulnerable. Stoic yet warm and caring. Aloof yet attentive. It was boggling her head, but she couldn't get enough of it.

Once she got Caddie sorted, she sat down with Marjorie on the sofa. "Movie?" Marjorie nodded. Autumn turned the TV on and the handed the remote to her. As their hands grazed one another, Autumn felt the electricity again. That same feeling she felt in the carpark.

She wrapped her arms around Marjorie and pulled her into her lap so abruptly it made the brunette giggles. She slipped her fingers into her hair and pulled her in for a tender kiss. As the kisses became hungrier, she slipped her free hand under Marjorie's jumper. She let her fingers explore her warm skin underneath. She hesitated at the clasp of her bra. Freeing herself from the kiss, "Sunshine?" Marjorie swooned at the name. "Yes." In her mind she was terrified, but her body did not betray that fear.

Autumn released the clasp before pulling first the jumper and then the bra softly from her body. She took a moment to take her in before kissing her again. Marjorie let out a moan as she kissed and nibbled her way from her jawline to her collarbone. As she brushed her lips just above Marjorie's collarbone, she felt her shiver as she whimpered. Autumn made a mental note of that spot. She kissed her way to her breast and took extra care to kiss both nipples before placing her mouth on one and her fingers on the other. She moved from flicking to sucking and back again. Marjorie's moans becoming louder as she begged.

"Autumn, please!"

Autumn stood lifting her up and gently placing her back on the sofa. She looked to Marjorie again for permission. Marjorie hesitated. It was only for a moment, but it was enough to stop Autumn in her tracks. They were both breathless. "Marjorie? Do you want me to stop?"

Marjorie felt embarrassed but sat herself back up. "I think we should. I'm sorry. I.. I ...I just need a bit more time. I've never been with a woman Autumn. I want you. I do. I just..."

Autumn's heart melted and hurt for her. "Sunshine, come here." She got up and Autumn pulled her into her lap again. "We have all the time in the world. I am not in a hurry. I promise." Marjorie buried her head in her chest. "I'm just ..." "Embarrassed? Don't be. I will always follow your lead. Well at least until you're comfortable." She gave her a wink.

They sat like that for a long time. Each just taking in the moment. Marjorie was the first to stir. I need to shower and head to bed love. She rolled her eyes. "I have a meeting with Siobhan in the morning."

After her shower, she found Autumn already settled in bed. She patted the place next to her beckoning the brunette to join her. She climbed into the bed, but instead of curling into Autumn she pulled Autumn to her. She didn't know why but she felt braver this way.

Autumn entangled her arms and legs around Marjorie's body. Placing her head on her chest. It wasn't long until they both drifted off to sleep, but not before Marjorie uttered, "I love you too. I didn't know it, but I do."
