Tw loss of pregnancy/miscarriage and mentions of blood

Autumn and Winter had finished their work for the day at the nursery. Autumn had been having a few twinges in her stomach but thought nothing of it and put it down to 'normal pregnancy growing pains.' Autumn was packing her things away and turning off her computer when she heard the office door open. "Ready to go home my love?" Looking up from her desk she saw her beloved standing at the door. "Just grabbing my things my sweet, then I will be ready." As she gathered her jacket and handbag, she felt another twinge but this time the pain was sharper and more painful. Autumn breathed through the pain as she began to walk out of the office trying not to show any discomfort to Winter, flipping the light switch as she passed "I'm ready to leave my sweet." Autumn and Winter walked out of the building setting the alarms and locking the door.

As they both approached the car, Winter glanced over at Autumn and noticed as she lightly grimaced in pain. "Are you okay my love?" Autumn was unaware she had let any signs of discomfort show. "I'm okay my sweet just a cramp." Autumn righted herself before climbing into the car to begin the drive home. After a short drive, Autumn pulled up on the driveway of their home. Before Autumn met Winter it was just a house to her, but now it was a home for her and her growing family. To Autumn life was good at the moment. She had met her beloved, she had her brother back in her life, she was expecting her first child, and her support circle was growing. She had made friends; all of this was something Autumn had never envisioned would happen a year ago.

Autumn and Winter made their way inside. Autumn wanted to decompress after all the stress of the day. "My sweet I'm going to have a shower and change" she called to Winter as she began to ascend the staircase to their shared bedroom. Winter headed towards the kitchen. "Okay my love I will begin preparing dinner for when you come back down." As Winter walked into the kitchen his phone vibrated in his pocket; he pulled it out. The screen illuminated showing a notification. Winter glanced at the notification a small smile appearing on his face before putting his phone back into his pocket. As Autumn walked into the bedroom, another sharp pain shot across her stomach. The pains were becoming more frequent. Autumn was starting to panic a little. Autumn headed to the en-suite and began to undress ready for her shower as she undressed her lower half Autumn noticed spots of blood on her underwear. She brushed it off as it just being a normal thing to spot during early pregnancy. Autumn climbed into the shower. She would bring it up at her midwife's appointment tomorrow morning.

As Autumn showered, Winter prepared and cooked a meal for the two of them to enjoy in front of the television. Winter had just finished plating up the food when he felt two arms embrace him from behind. "Feeling better my love?" Winter spoke as he turned around to embrace his beloved placing a gentle kiss on her forehead. "I am my sweet, what have you prepared for us?" Autumn asked glancing over at the plates on the kitchen counter. "Oh, this is just a simple pasta dish my love, I thought we could eat in front of the television tonight and watch a film. We don't have to be up early. Let's have a movie night"

The couple enjoyed their evening cozied up on the sofa watching movies and just enjoying their quality time together. As the movie finished Winter glanced down at his beloved girlfriend, she had fallen asleep curled into him her head resting on his lap. Remembering his notification from earlier, Winter pulled his phone from his pocket to respond to the message. Once completing his message, he stowed his phone back into his pocket before gently trying to wake Autumn "my love the movie has finished shall we go up to bed?" After a few seconds Autumn stirred, "come on my love let's get you up to bed you'll be more comfortable." Winter guided Autumn up the stairs.
