Fancy takes action

Claude and Christal kiss again while Fancy who is watching on the side takes her eyes off, finding Claude really weird at the moment. The man seemed to be talking to someone and at one point, a black shadow seemed to appear in front of him and the duke seemed to kiss it.
She doesn't know if she's going crazy; maybe she is because no one seemed to notice. She must be really tired, she's just going to end this situation and go to sleep. Her mistress seems not to want to come home tonight, she wonders where Azef took her.

She blushes remembering their lovemaking, how Azef was taking her mistress a few days ago wondering how one can put so much force into pounding a woman. But her mistress's face full of ecstasy seemed to indicate that she must really be enjoying it.  This pleased her and she must admit that she is starting to like Azef slightly... no matter how, anyone who gives her mistress so much happiness is automatically a good person for her.... her mistress deserves to be the happiest and most powerful person on this earth and even if she is not really a person of power, she intends to help her as much as she can to destroy her enemies.

“Well, as you have already understood, I will have to fire a few people within the staff in order to optimize the output here.”

She can see many servants closing their eyes putting their hands in front of them as if they were making a prayer.

“I will start with the kitchen, all those who work there must look on the list that I had hung there. Those whose names are posted stay and the others must leave the Hosten mansion within the hour.”

The kitchen employees with pounding hearts run into the kitchens, the others looking at them with a certain envy, they would quickly know their fate.

“Well now maids... many arrangements will be made about it, but for now, your list is posted upstairs. For the rest, here is the list, take the time to read it carefully and those who have been dismissed will be informed of the rest thanks to a note written at the bottom of the page.”

Everyone leaves to inquire about their future, Fancy exhaling deeply, it has been stressful but it is not always over.

“You were perfect.”

“Big brother…”

“I am proud of you”

“Thank you.”

A few minutes later, many people come back, a good fifteen, almost half of the employees have been dismissed.

“Well, I invite you to come and receive your compensation and leave the house.”

With defeated faces, everyone advances towards Rahan who hands them their envelope but when a girl the same age as Fancy comes to take her envelope, Fancy stops her.

“You... come here, I need to talk to you.”

The girl frowns a little surprised, she was fired but if Fancy calls her again, can she still hope? Her heart skips a beat, is it a stroke of luck?

“Yes ma’am…”

Fancy smiles, they call her ma’am and bow their heads in front of her, she will easily get used to it.

The others continue to move forward, the young girl twisting her fingers with an almost mortal expectation.

“What do you think Fancy wants to do, my love?”

“I don’t know, but if she took lessons from our daughter, then I imagine it’s a good plan.”

“I see.”

When all the fired employees have finally left, Fancy looked at her brother and asked him to update the list of people who were recruited by her and to orient them in the house as new staff.

Rahan left leaving his sister with the girl who looks at her with fear.

“Good, both of us, let's talk.”

The girl jumps and Fancy leads them to her new governess room.

“Madam, do you need me?”

“I thought about it and decided to give you another chance.”

The girl immediately gets up, her eyes shining, yes the sky has not abandoned her after all.

“I will do anything to satisfy you.”

“But I intend to, I am not doing this out of kindness.”

The girl swallows while waiting for what crazy request Fancy will ask her.

“I believe you were in Gabrielle’s service as a maid.”

“Yes...yes ma’am.”

She trembles slightly imagining how much the woman in front of her must hate her after all the atrocities she inflicted on Mylène in Gabrielle’s name...she would certainly never forgive her.

“Well, you will go back at her service.”
