Aaron's return

The next few minutes were the most intense ever. Azef was getting more and more passionate while I was struggling to keep up. Not only did he seem to be getting bigger, but I felt like his dragon side was taking over his human side. It wasn't scary in itself but it wasn't practical for my frail human body.

So I reminded him and despite his embarrassment, we continued until the end and eventually, we fell asleep in each other's arms.

A knock at the door woke us up and Fancy came straight in to find us naked, curled up against each other; she just shook her head.

“My Lady, it's morning, you shouldn't be so immodest.” She repressed. I can understand her, the servants are not on my side yet and a rumor could very well spread outside the Hosten estate and tarnish my reputation as a lady.  Even if my father will kill each of the servants who spread this rumor, but, it could damage my plans if the men who think I'm pure and innocent find out that I have a pet boy who also serves as my lover. Fancy is right, I have to be more careful, but with Azef, I feel like I'm losing all logic.

“Ah Fancy…” I tacitly agreed with her before deciding to listen to her.

We got out of bed, naked, and Fancy turned to let us take care of getting dressed. Her mistress yes, she can see her naked but this man who belongs to her mistress, no.

A short while later we came back from the bathroom, Fancy thanking the heavens that they hadn't decided to unite again in the bathroom.

“So?” I asked.

“The second prince arrived a few minutes ago and wants to see you. He's with the duke at the moment.” Fancy answered like an automaton and I smiled, taking Azef's hand.

 “Then let's not keep him waiting.”

The three of us went to Claude's office and I opened the door after knocking once.

“Dad…”

“Hello sweetheart...hmhm sir…”

Claude couldn't finish his sentence, he was cut off in his tracks by Azef's gaze and he cleared his throat.

“Ah, the prince came to see you so I'll let you two talk.”

Claude left the office and I went to sit down opposite Aaron who was looking at me with starry eyes which disgusted Azef.

The latter came to stand behind my chair while Fancy brought the tea.

“Who is this man behind you, Mylène?”

“Ah, he's Azef... he's my pet boy, like a boy-in-waiting.”

 Aaron scowled, he didn't really like that the woman he loved was always near a man and if this man was this impressive, it pissed him off even more.

“Isn't it customary for ladies to have women as lady-in-waiting?”

“I don't like clichés.”

“But…”

“Azef is here to be my bodyguard as well, so I can't trust my safety to a fragile woman.”

Aaron still didn't like it but Fancy cut his questions short by serving tea.

“Well... Aaron, did you get my letter?”

“Indeed, that's why I'm here. A mage is examining your brother right now.”

“Thank you so much Aaron...you're a blessing...to my life.”

 Aaron blushed, making Azef roll his eyes. He could have been annoyed by this man but now that he sees him, there is no way that Mylène is cheating on them with this worthless man.

“Well we will have news later and you, how have you been these last few days?”

“Well, I am fine... just that I was a little surprised when I heard that you were now engaged.”

Aaron swallowed and lowered his face, so the news had already reached Mylène's ears... No, he did not want it to happen like this.

“It was my father who schemed all this without my consent. But I swear to you Mylène, that it just happened without me knowing and I was just as surprised as you”

I smiled, it is obvious yes.
