THE HUMILIATION

I woke up to the sounds of birds chirping outside my window. I opened the curtains as the sunlight poured into the room and filled everything with colour. Huge heaps of cumulus clouds covered the sky and the sun shone brightly. Everything looked so perfect.

I walked to the bathroom slowly and took a long shower. I let all my emotions out . I sobbed carelessly and laughed crazily. After the relaxing shower , i put on a kiwi face mask and left it for 2 mins as the instruction said. While waiting for the mask to dry i took out my clothes which i fancied alot. A short black dress, glossy red heels and a black purse. I washed off the face mask and put on some makeup. I got dressed up extremly as i was going to a party with populars.

I put on light foundation, concealer, light pink blush and shiny red lipstick. I painted my nails black and  put my hair in a tight ponytail. I headed downstairs and saw my mum in her reading chair, reading yesterday's newspaper. " good morning hunny!" she exclaimed. " where you going all dolled up?" she asked with fake concern. "You wouldn't even care if i died! " I thought to myself. "im going to a friend's house for a party." i said instead. " ohh ok have fun then!" she replied with a sigh of relief which she thought i did not hear.

The journey to Janie's house was quiet and slow. My mum and i did not even make eye contact in the car. Finally, huge houses came into view thats when i knew we were in drakesburg. I told my mum the address which was not hard to find. I jumped out of the car relieved . " i will get a lift from a friend mum you need not worry" i told her. " ok whatever you say!" she said before speeding off.

Janie's house wasn't just any ordinary house. Big gates secured the majestic house itself. The huge gates opened just for me. I stepped inside and looked at the three story house in awe. The house covered a large area and was painted royal red. Huge windows revealed a gold chandelier on the inside. Guards stood outside protecting every corner of the building. I headed to the huge doors just in time for a butler to open the door and bow in front of me. The butler escorted me to the huge dining hall where millions of kids had gathered.

I spotted janie and went up to her. " thank you janie for inviting me to your party!" i told her with appreciation. " it was my pleasure ... Umm.. What's your name again?" she asked. " Ellie.."i said with my duhh tone. " ohh yeah right" she said. "well i have to go ella is it? but we will talk later" and with that she walked off. " its ellie " i whispered.

I started feeling as if janie was not nice just like emily. I brushed off the thought by having some punch which did not look like punch though. I sat on a chair and looked around. The kids around wore more revealing clothes than i did. I felt disgusted. I saw rosha keys dancing. She wore a red sleeveless dress that was very short, black pencil heels and had left her hair loose and straightened. That was typical rosha for you.

I got bored after a while and headed out of the dining hall and on to explore the house. When i saw sight of no one i went on with my plan. I climbed the staircase carefully and landed outside janie's bedroom. I twisted the bejeweled doorknob and entered janie's bedroom. My mouth formed a perfect o as i saw how huge and purple everything was. The size of the room was bigger than my whole flat. I closed tbe door behind me and went on to see what secrets janie kept in her room.

I saw a huge, purple water bed neatly placed ,10 Long mighty cupboards stood on the other end of the room, A huge dressing table stood on another corner , a large, flat screen, plasma tv was placed on top of a trolley full of cds and books. On the wall i saw three photo frames. One held a picture of janie herself and the other two held pictures of her mom and dad. I heard the doorknob twist. My first instinct was to hid under the bed. I saw a pair of black heels come inside and sit on the bed. I tried not to make any noise.

I controlled my heavy breathing. The person took off the black heels and walked to the bathroom. This was it, my only chance to escape. I quickly got up from underneath the bed and ran out the room. I quickly went back to the dining hall and saw kids still dancing. I checked the big clock to see what time it was 11:30. It would almost be time to go. I knew no one would drop me home but i had to make my mom go home. I walked to a table where rosha keys, sandy wilson, becky moore and brooke smithson sat. There was one seat remaining which i would occupy.

"heyy" i said politely. They all looked at me  differently. Sandy looked at me with disgust like she had just stepped on something sticky. Rosha smiled genuinely,brooke completely ignored me and becky giggled at tbe sight of me. " hi" rosha replied. " ellie is it?" rosha asked. "yes" i said. At that moment janie burst through the dining doors angry. " you little brat!" she said as she looked towards me. " you were in my room?!?!  How dare you?!?!  You are worth nothing !! You stupid freak!!!  Why the hell were you in my room?!?" janie exclaimed. I found your stupid hair clip in my room under my bed!! " she continued ranting.

Loud gasps and giggles were heard across the room. "just get out of here!" and with that two huge guards threw me out literally. I landed head first. My long dress turned into a short dress which was even shorter than rosha's. I tugged at my dress trying to pull it down since it was on my thighs now. I failed my attempt. I started walking when all of a sudden a cloth grabbed my face and made me go unconscious.
