Roxy couldn't clean off the couch fast enough, so Rowan and I spoke in my room instead. He told me all about how our parents came home and decided that they were moving. They did not want the hassle of taking Rowan with them, so they gave him that day to pack his things and get out. He didn't know where else to go so he had arrived shortly before I got home.

He was so distraught when he finished telling me everything he just cried into my arms until he passed out. I had to very gently remove myself from my bed and him from my arms so that I could go talk with Roxy about him staying here.

Roxy and Scott cleaned up most of her notes and materials when I came back out and had even put a pillow and blanket on the couch already. Just that scene made me break down and now I really was crying for the second time today.

Roxy hugged me, "he said your parents kicked him out so he's going to stay here right?"

I nodded, "if you don't mind."

She rolled her eyes, "of course I don't mind."

We hugged it out for a while and then I sighed, "I guess I'm sleeping on the couch though because he's passed out in there."

The three of us moved the living room around and got all of Rowan's stuff put in the corner and all of Roxy's study materials back in her room. Exams were starting tomorrow and she could only really study a little longer.

After it was all cleaned up, I pulled out my phone and saw that Leo had texted me a couple times. It seemed a little worried so I stepped into the kitchen to make dinner and call him.

He picked up pretty quickly, "are you okay?"

I sighed, "yeah, I'm fine just came home to a shit show."

"More than Roxy's study notes?" He asked, but now he sounded more relaxed. "I was worried for a second you were having second thoughts."

I laughed, "nope, you're stuck with me. But my brother showed up at my apartment so just dealing with that."

I could hear the worry seep back into his voice, "he doesn't just show up, does he?"

I sighed, he did say he wanted to hear about my crazy. So here it was I guess. Now that we were officially dating it was only right that I told him about it all. "My parents decided they are moving and kicked him out of the house."

"What!" Leo shouted and I had to hold the phone away from my ear a little, "that's crazy! Is your brother okay?"

"Yeah," I sighed out. "He passed out on my bed, he looked pretty tired. I'm just going to make dinner now and then sleep on the couch tonight."

"Do you need anything?" He asked, a little frantic, "I can come back over and help."

"No, no," I laughed, it made me smile just to think he wanted to come and help. "Thank you though. For now I just have to get through my exams and then I will figure out how to help Rowan. You have work tomorrow so please get a good nights sleep."

Leo groaned, "oh c'mon its a perfect way to come see you again though."

I laughed again, "I know, but sometimes we have to be responsible adults."

He sighed in frustration, "I guess."

We talked for a little bit longer until I was done making pasta for four. I put Rowan's away in a container in the fridge and the rest of us ate at the island in the kitchen before Scott left and Roxy went to get ready for bed. I went quietly into my room to grab my stuff and take it to the washroom so I could also get ready for bed.

I ended up texting Leo until I passed out on the couch.

The next morning, Roxy's alarm woke up all three of us. Rowan stumbled out of my room, apologizing and very groggy.
