**A few weeks later**

Leo and I were going stir crazy. My job still had not contacted me and his team was still telling us to not do anything. But staying at his house for two months and not doing anything was driving us both mad.

So we rebelled a little and told them once we were at the airport and through security already. We booked a trip to a small island in the Carribean for the next two weeks to get a change of scenery to our lockdown.

They were not happy, but Leo sent them a picture of us on the plane, in first class no less, and they couldn't do anything.

Leo's manager knew, and that was what mattered most, so he wouldn't be scheduled for anything. He even encouraged us to go somewhere, to get away from it all.

We landed in Mexico hours later, I wrote the whole way there on my laptop. I was still on a roll. I had so much content and story and I felt like I was only halfway done. We went through the airport here without any airport security watching us so Leo and I had sunglasses and hats on.

We found the second gate pretty easily after customs and the flight attendant brought us outside to the tarmac to get into a tiny plane. I saw our luggage being brought over, so my anxiety went down a little but the plane was so tiny and it was us plus one other couple getting on board and that was it. Leo and I had to sit with me in front and him behind because there was only one chair per row.

I gave him a look that screamed this was a bad idea and he just smiled at me.

That flight was an hour, and it was cool but also terrifying. We could barely hear each other so we all wore earplugs.

I took a lot more pictures than I intended but the ocean was beautiful. The landing was bumpy and when we got out I almost kissed the ground. Our luggage was given to us then and we went through more customs in a smaller airport with like two employees.

A car met us there to bring us to our hotel, which had separate villas for all the guests. It was beautiful and we were right on the beach. As soon as we got in, we both passed out on the bed and woke up much later when the sun was setting. Leo and I watched the sun set and then went to get some food.

The first week, we signed up for excursions and did things all over the island. Leo ran into 2 teenage girls who knew who he was and took pictures with them, but they left us alone after that. The second week we spent on the beach getting tan and swimming.

We took the same route back home and I wrote on the plane again. I wrote a little while we were in the hotel but not nearly enough that my brain wanted to say.

When we got home, it was the middle of the night and the airport was dead. Leo's security picked us up just in case. There was no fans or cameras to greet us so I figured that was a positive. We made it home in one piece and somehow passed out on the couch.

The next morning was a Monday and we went shopping to restock the fridge first thing. The cameras found us then, leaving Leo's and following us to the grocery store but not inside. We didn't have time to wait for a delivery, we needed breakfast stuff.

I checked online when we got back and sure enough, people were commenting on our tans.

Leo decided first, "I'm going to post the trip."

I raised an eyebrow at him, "are you going to get in trouble?"

He shrugged, "who cares, we had fun."

Both of us already posted on our secret accounts for our friends and family. They all knew we were doing well and had fun.

Leo showed me right before he posted. It was 5 pictures. The first one of the beach, the second one of the sunset with me sitting in front with my back to the camera and my hair blowing in the breeze, the third one with Leo and a bird on his shoulder that I took for him, the fourth one with both of us jumping into the ocean off of a dock, and the fifth one was a picture of the buffet breakfast we got every morning.
