The soft rays of the morning sun filtered through the curtains, casting a warm golden glow across the bedroom. Wonwoo stirred awake, reaching out instinctively for Mingyu, only to find his side of the bed empty. His brow furrowed slightly as he blinked the sleep away, sitting up and scanning the room.

That’s when he saw him.

Mingyu was on the plush carpet in the center of the room, his back arched gracefully in a yoga pose, hands planted firmly on the floor. His body moved with a gentle elegance, his baby bump adding a soft curve to his frame. Dressed in a loose tank top and maternity leggings, he glowed in the morning light, his skin radiant and his movements hypnotic.

Wonwoo froze, his breath catching in his throat.

He’d always thought Mingyu was stunning, but this moment—seeing him so at peace, so breathtakingly beautiful—left Wonwoo utterly speechless.

“You’re staring,” Mingyu said without turning, a knowing smile tugging at his lips.

Wonwoo smirked, leaning back against the headboard. “How can I not? You’re glowing, Gyu.”

Mingyu finished his pose, carefully shifting into a seated position before finally looking over at his husband. “You’re such a flirt in the morning.”

Wonwoo slid out of bed, padding over to where Mingyu sat. He crouched beside him, his hand immediately finding its place on the baby bump. “And you make it way too easy.”

Mingyu rolled his eyes, though his cheeks flushed at the compliment.

---

After Mingyu’s yoga session, they moved to the kitchen for breakfast. Wonwoo insisted on cooking, despite Mingyu’s half-hearted protests that he could manage on his own.

“You’re carrying our baby,” Wonwoo said firmly, shooing Mingyu toward the dining table. “Let me take care of you.”

Mingyu sat down, pulling out his tablet to distract himself while Wonwoo worked. As the smell of pancakes and freshly brewed coffee filled the air, Mingyu decided it was the perfect time to bring up baby names.

“So,” Mingyu began, scrolling through a list on the screen. “I think we should start narrowing down names. Any ideas?”

Wonwoo turned with a smirk, carrying a plate of pancakes to the table. “How about something timeless? Like… Gertrude.”

Mingyu nearly choked on air. “Gertrude? Are you serious?”

Wonwoo laughed, settling into the chair beside him. “What? It’s a classic!”

“Yeah, a *very* old classic.” Mingyu shook his head, going back to his list. “Next suggestion.”

“Hercules,” Wonwoo said with a completely straight face.

“Wonwoo.” Mingyu glared at him, though his lips twitched with suppressed laughter.

“Okay, okay,” Wonwoo said, holding up his hands in mock surrender. “What about something simple, like Min?”

Mingyu hummed thoughtfully. “Min’s nice. But I think I want something a little more unique.”

Wonwoo leaned closer, picking up a fork to feed Mingyu a bite of pancake. “What about a name that means ‘light’? Something that reflects how bright you’ve made my life.”

Mingyu froze for a moment, his eyes wide, before a warm blush spread across his cheeks. “You’re so cheesy.”

“You love it,” Wonwoo teased, brushing a crumb off Mingyu’s lip with his thumb.

Mingyu shook his head, smiling as he returned to his list. “I do,” he admitted softly.

As they continued brainstorming, Wonwoo couldn’t help but sneak glances at Mingyu. His husband was so immersed in the task, his brows furrowed in concentration and his free hand resting protectively on his bump.

“We don’t even know the gender,” Mingyu said suddenly, breaking Wonwoo’s reverie. “It’s hard to decide when we don’t know if we’re having a boy or a girl.”

“You could always let me find out,” Wonwoo suggested, though his tone was light, almost playful.

“No way,” Mingyu replied firmly. “I want it to be a surprise.”

Wonwoo sighed dramatically. “The suspense is killing me.”

Mingyu laughed, reaching out to squeeze Wonwoo’s hand. “Patience, Jeon Wonwoo. You’ll know soon enough.”

Wonwoo grumbled under his breath, but as he looked at Mingyu—his husband, his partner, and the love of his life—he realized he didn’t mind the wait. After all, every moment with Mingyu, every little step toward their future, was a gift he wouldn’t trade for anything.
