The wind stirred through the tall, neatly trimmed hedges of the maze. The setting sun cast long shadows across the labyrinth, its golden light flickering through the leaves. Despite the beauty of the place, I pushed it out of my mind as I progressed through the maze's intricate layout.
YN: Well, let's see how quickly I can clear this.
I adjusted my blindfold. My Six Eyes heightened my awareness of the environment, so I could sense the presence of Cursed Spirits lurking within the maze, their malevolent auras just beyond the reach of my vision. The first obstacle came sooner than I expected. I had just ducked into a new corridor when I sensed it. My eyes narrowed as a low growl echoed through the maze. Out of the darkness ahead, a twisted creature emerged, its body a patchwork of limbs and faces, all seemingly sewn together in a grotesque parody of human form. It moved toward me, its many mouths gnashing and snarling in hunger.
YN: Damn, Suguru didn't hold back at all, huh?
The curse lunged toward me, jaws open wide, but it collided with the wall created by my Infinity. It tried in vain to push through, but in an instant, I'd punched straight through its head. I continued onward, unbothered by the brief encounter. As I pressed on, the maze seemed to shift. The paths I had just walked seemed to change, leading me into corners where there was no way forward. I'd expected this, of course. It was never gonna just be a simple hedge maze. As I kept running deeper into the maze, the ground beneath my feet trembled. Something bigger and stronger was coming towards me. From one of the walls of the maze, a colossal Cursed Spirit emerged. This one was different. Its body was massive, almost impossibly large, and covered in jagged, spiky limbs. I smirked. This was one of the stronger ones Suguru had sent specifically to target me. The Cursed Spirit roared, its voice a guttural, reverberating sound that shook the maze. I stood there for a moment, my hands casually tucked into my pockets, before raising my hand.
YN: Sorry, but I need to be quick here. Domain Expansion.
The air around me rippled, and a sphere of energy expanded outward, rapidly enveloping the Cursed Spirit. For a moment, everything in the creature's consciousness was flooded. Its senses were overloaded. Every single piece of information in the universe, the size of every atom, the movement of every molecule, the entire expanse of time... was shoved into its head in an instant, filling the Cursed Spirit's mind with an unrelenting flow of information it could not comprehend. In the split second my Domain Expansion was open, the creature's consciousness was shattered. In an instant, the Cursed Spirit's massive form disintegrated into nothingness, its body unraveling into a sea of Cursed Energy that dispersed into the air. Not even a trace of it remained. I kept moving, and eventually found it. The heart of the maze, a large opening with the Triwizard Cup in the center. I ran for it, noticing Harry and Cedric also sprinting towards it from different angles. I lunged... and Harry and I touched it at the same time. Instantly, I felt a tug in my gut. My eyes widened in realization as my feet left the ground, and I couldn't let go of the cup. It was pulling me into the air in a howl of wind and swirling color, with Harry by my side. My feet slammed into the ground, our hands letting go of the Triwizard Cup. Harry fell to the ground, and I noticed he'd hurt his leg. He raised his head.
Harry: Where are we?
YN: No clue... but I don't think this was supposed to happen.
I put my hand on Harry's leg, healing it. Then I got up, pulled Harry to his feet, and we looked around. We had left the Hogwarts grounds completely. We had obviously traveled miles, perhaps hundreds of miles, for even the mountains surrounding the castle were gone. We were standing in a dark and overgrown graveyard. The black outline of a small church was visible beyond a large tree to our right. A hill rose above us to our left. Harry could just make out the outline of a fine old house on the hillside. I looked down at the Triwizard Cup and then up at Harry.
