Merry Christmas!  Sorry I've been slow with the uploads lately, I'm away from my PC at school, and I'm stuck on my phone.  I'll start uploading regularly again around halfway through January.  This'll be a shorter chapter, since I'm writing it from scratch and I'm tired.  Anyways, ENJOY!

The atmosphere in the room changed with the rapidity I'd have associated with the arrival of dementors.  Where seconds before it had been sleepily relaxed, it was now alert, even tense.  Uncle Remus, who had been about to take a sip of wine, lowered his goblet slowly, looking wary.  I leaned over to Harry.

YN: If they don't tell you anything, then I'll fill you in.  I've kept up with all of it.  I'll see you in the morning.

He nodded at me and I stood up, leaving the room before the ensuing argument.  Ava hurried after me.

The next morning, I awoke at four o'clock.  I gently shook Ava awake, and after about fifteen minutes of complaining and yawning, we were in the kitchen.  The house was completely silent, apart from the occasional creak that likely meant Kreacher was roaming around.

Ava: So... you're teleporting us, right?

I grin.

Ava: Oh no...

YN: It'll be fine, don't worry.

She sighed as we went to the front door.  I pulled out my wand and undid the locks, stepping out onto the porch.  We hurried down to the street, and turned to watch twelve Grimmauld Place disappear between the two bordering houses.  Ava sighed, hugging me.

Ava: Get it over with.

I laugh, wrapping my arms around her.

YN: Deep breath, babe.

She took a deep breath, and suddenly we were floating in the air over the clouds.  We could see the sun rising in the distance.  Then, as quickly as we'd gone from the street to the sky, we slammed into the ground.  The sky above us was blue, and the sun was already high in the sky.

YN: Welcome to Tokyo.

Ava stumbled a bit, but regained her footing quickly and looked around.

YN: You end up learning any Japanese?

Ava: Nope.

I sighed.

YN: Let's hope this kid knows English.

Ava: Do we even know where to find him?

I point at the house in front of us.  The mailbox had the kanji for "Fushiguro".  I was about to knock on the door when a voice rang out behind us in Japanese.

???: Who're you?

I turned around.  The kid looked maybe ten years old, which made sense since I was hand delivering him his Hogwarts acceptance letter.  He had spiky black hair, and dark eyes.  I looked at him with a mixture of interest and concern.

???: And what's with that weird face?

YN: You just look like him, is all.

He gave me a weird look.

YN: My own issue.  You're Megumi Fushiguro, right?

The boy nodded.

YN: So listen, about your dad-

Megumi: I don't care.  I have no interest in where he is or what he's doing.  I haven't seen him in years so I don't remember what he looks like.  I guess he's finished with me and he's off enjoying himself elsewhere, right?

I stare at him.

YN: Are you really a ten year old?  Well, whatever.  If you ever want to know about your father, you can ask me.  I think it'll be pretty interesting to hear.  Now, on to the main point.  I was sent to hand deliver you this.  We usually send them via owl, but...

I reached into my pocket and dug around.

YN: Crap.  Did I leave it at home?

Ava poked me and held out the envelope to Megumi, who took it.

YN: Thank you, Ava.  So, kid.  You ever notice anything... weird happening around you?

Megumi nodded, put his hands together, and out of his own shadow rose a large white dog.  I stared at it, impressed, as he ripped open the letter.  After he read through it, he looked up at me.

YN: So, do you want to come to Hogwarts?

Megumi looked at me, as if trying to decide if this was some elaborate prank.

YN: That dog there.  You didn't make that just with normal magic.  That's Jujutsu Sorcery.  On top of the regular magic you'll learn at Hogwarts, my friend and I can teach you how to use that power better too, maybe even summon different stuff.

After a few more moments, Megumi nodded.

YN: Okay!

I grinned and put my hand on his head, ruffling his hair and ignoring the annoyed look on his face.

YN: Leave the rest to me then.

He nodded, then turned and went inside.

Ava: I didn't catch a word of that.

YN: Shit, I didn't ask if he knows English... well, the letter was all English so I guess he does.

Ava: Well, with that done, let's get going!  I wanna see some of the sights before we head back to London!
