Zara.

My mind keeps wandering. I was finding it extremely hard to focus so when Diana knocked me off my feet I couldn't blame her. Naturally it would take her quite a while to even get me to fall to my knees talk less of being sprawled out like a starfish.

And we started two minutes ago.

I stared up at the ceiling as I let out a string of Italian curse words. Diana snickered.

"You in your head again?"

I scoffed at her question. I wasn't. Just distracted.

"Nope. Wanna do this again?" I asked and she shook her head.

"Nah. I'm gonna revel in the fact that I won this sparring battle. It should be added to my resume. 'I beat Z fair and square in a sparring match.' It'll be golden."

I smirked.

I grabbed my bottle of water and drank it halfway.
"I'm home!! Who wants pizza?" Hades walked into the room carrying boxes of pizza and a dashing smile.

"Ooh! Extra large milkshake?!" Diana squealed taking some of the boxes from him. I joined them on the floor and we started eating.

"What's the plan now? We've been scouting for two months." Hades spoke as he looked at me. Diana smacked him. "Not now dude."

I smiled waving it off. "It's now actually. Let's talk about it." I said and they sat up eagerly to hear me out.

Ever since we ditched the agency, we've practically been on the run. Erwin didn't follow through with his threat to reveal my face to the world.

That doesn't guarantee my safety though. There's a chance he shows my picture to high profiles that want me dead. That way they could gun me down quietly.

These past months we've been strategizing and planning our next move. We found the location of my father but still haven't found Mason yet. Just when it seems like we've got him, he moves.

And then there's Adrian. Who is still looking for me up until this moment. He doesn't know where I am but I know where he is. You might be wondering why I haven't gone to see him. In as much as I'm skilled and can defend my self against quite a number of men, this is the Italian Mafia.

And I betrayed them. After they trusted me. Plus I'm the assassin sent to kill their boss. It's safe to say they all want my head on a diamond platter.

So for safety reasons, meeting Adrian  will have to wait.

"Where's Min? She's not back yet?" I asked and she walked into the gym just then. "Hi guys. Sorry I'm late. I found something." She said slightly out of breath as she plopped down beside me.

She grabbed a slice of pizza first before speaking.
"Apparently Adrian has a lead on Mason." I turn and look at her.
"He does? How'd you know?" Diana asked and she placed a tablet in our midst and played a video.

In the video, a teenage girl stood in Adrian's office. It seemed like they were interrogating her. She looked awful. Jace was there too. Adrian had his back to the camera so I couldn't see his face.
We all watched as he pulled out his gun and shot at the lamp close to the girl.

"The fuck is he on?" Hades asked in disbelief. Diana caught me smirking and scoffed. "You two are a crazy pair." She said.

The video ended and Min picked up her tablet back. "We just have to wait for them to confirm his location and get to Mason first. They'll do the work." She said.

"Okay. While that's going on, we'll be paying a visit to Andrew." I announced.

"Going home to Daddy, are we?" I rolled my eyes at Hades. "We're leaving tomorrow. Get ready." With that I stood up and left the gym.
