Adrian. That damn woman. What the fuck was going on in her head to challenge me and where did she learn to fight like that?
I knew she could beat me but she didn't. For some reason, she was holding back.
Bruno had already sent me a file today containing everything on her. I took a shower, changed into a white shirt and grey sweatpants.
I made my way to my office to avoid Ria. She has been forbidden from entering here due to her constant whining and demands.
I didn't know how else to make it known to her that we can never be a thing. We had sex on occasion and she makes it an idea to act like my Donna.
It makes my mother extremely pissed but I tried but I can't get rid of her.
Thankfully, the one person that could get rid of her will be returning tomorrow. Jenna hates Ria.
I opened the file and scanned the first item. It was a picture of her. In the picture she was glaring. Not surprising, at the camera. She still managed to look gorgeous.
I pushed the picture aside and kept reading.
Zara Mae Davis. Daughter of Mason and Celia Davis.
Her parents are Mason and Celia? I've heard stories of how the billionaire killed his wife because of something she did. I wonder if Zara knows.
Graduated High school and graduated College at 17.
I smirked. Someone's a smart cookie.
No siblings. Only child.
Lives in New York with a pet dog she has since childhood.
Dated Two boys so far and isn't a virgin anymore.
I felt grossed out. Did he really have to go into depth?
Works at a Conference Auditorium as a Spokesperson.
A 17 year old spokesperson. That was impressive.
I continued reading but it just seemed like she's as normal as any other girl. Except for the Daddy issues.
I sighed and closed the file keeping it away when a knock sounded on my door.
"Come in."
Maria walked in with the glass of water I asked for. I stood up and reached her, taking it from her. "Thank you Maria." I said setting it on the table.
"Anytime Son. Ms Harrell is asking for you in the living room. It seems she and Zara are having an argument." She informed.
I frowned confused. What the hell are those women up to now?
Thanking her I walked out of the office closing the doors and jogged down to the living area. I paused at the entrance as I assessed the whole situation. Jace was in here as well and he sat on the couch with his phone and laptop.
Zara had a gun. I repeat, She has a gun in her hands.
Ria clearly is throwing a tantrum nothing new.
"What the fuck is going on here?" I asked walking in. Ria scrambled over to me but I shoved her aside.
"Why do you have a gun?" I asked looking at Zara. She smiled cheekily at me and I found her adorable.
"Saw it lying around and picked it up." As she spoke she raised it at me. I rolled my eyes and turned to Jace who was now watching.
"I tried. I'm scared of this woman dude." He said. "She's just a child." I snapped and Zara snorted.
"I'm not. I'm 20."
What?
Shaking my head I held out my hand to her.
"Give him the gun bitch!" Ria yelled and Zara swivelled around to aim it at her.
"You have quite a mouth on you huh? How does this work? I just pull right?" She taunted and Ria backed away.
"Woah! Okay Zara. Just give Adrian the gun." Jace coaxed. Rolling her eyes she tossed it on the table and Ria screamed ducking. Jace and I stood not startled at all including Zara.
Interesting.
"Jesus Zara. A stray bullet could've hit anyone." Jace chided.
"Oops." That was so nonchalant.
I turned and walked away not wanting to be anywhere near Zara. I had already tasked Jace to watch her every move. After all he brought her here.
"Where's the weirdo going?" I gritted my teeth at her question and stopped walking. I turned and marched towards her. I grabbed her hand and dragged her along with me.
"Dude! Hold up! Don't hurt her!" Jace called out but I ignored him.
"Let go! You're hurting me you stupid shit!" Zara yelled. As I walked we passed a few men who glanced at us in curiousness. Maria also saw us and rushed to step in my way.
"What's wrong?" She asked.
"Get out of my way Maria." I glowered. Seeing how angry I was she calmly stepped aside.
"He's going to kill me!" Zara's pleas fell on deaf ears because no one will be dumb enough to stop me.
As we entered the basement the men there nodded in respect and I tossed Zara towards them.
"Lock her up. Now!"
She stared at me with wide eyes and I stared back coldly.
I ignored the other hostages and walked into the cell they had just put Zara. She was tied up in a chair like I asked.
"Why are you doing this? I barely did anything wrong."She spat and I scoffed.
"You're a total stranger, you haven't even been here for a week and you're already causing so much trouble." I said calmly as I approached her and squatted to her eye level.
She rolled her eyes before connecting them back with mine. "I'm sorry." She apologized. I raised an eyebrow. She didn't sound sorry.
"I should slap you right now." I snapped. She scoffed and her head jerked to the side as I smacked her face.
She blinked before thrashing trying to get out of the ropes to hit me back.
"Didn't your mother teach you not to hit women?!" She screamed. Her cheek had my palm print and I caressed it.
"Don't touch me." She said lowly.
"Shut up."
Grabbing her hair I pulled back forcing her to look at me. "I can do whatever the fuck I want." I spat.
Her lips trembled and I smirked. Wrapping a hand around her neck I leaned closer.
"Including tying you to my bed and fucking the life out of you. You've been a bad girl Angel." I whispered darkly. I felt her shiver against me.
I leaned back and stood to my full height. She didn't break eye contact but I could clearly see how flustered she was by my words.
I turned around and walked out.
"You sick fuck! Don't leave me here!"
