What do y'all think of the cover up there??

Adrian.

Like I told her, everyone was in the dining area. Jenna was beyond furious at Zara for cutting her hair. The woman in question barely paid her any attention as her eyes moved around the kitchen looking for what to devour. I laughed to myself before dishing out a plate for her and sliding it over to her.

She looked up at me for a second then back at the food. It took a minute before she started eating.

"Is there any way to reverse time? I wanna walk in on you while you committed this abomination!" Jenna yelled and Zara made a face at her.

"It's just hair Jenna. It'll grow back." She said and Jenna huffed. "It was nice to see you in longer hair though." She muttered.

"I hate my hair long." Zara muttered angrily. Jenna took the hint and dropped the issue.

"What's going to happen now?" Romero asked frantically causing Zara to glare at him. "What do you mean?" I asked and he turned his laptop to us.

I stared at the screen in utter shock. "What the hell?" Jace shouted glancing at me. I faced Zara and to be honest her nonchalance at the moment was driving me crazy. She took a sip from the bottle of water beside her before standing up.

"What?" She said when she realized everyone was looking at her.
"Can't you see the headlines? You're going to be exposed!" Jenna said and Zara shrugged.

"So?" Jace slammed his fist on the table. "Z. I adore you and all but you've gotta be at least a bit worried. Tons of people will know your face including the mafia and you'll be gunned down." He said and she snickered.

"Gun me down? I'll kill them before they can." She said calmly. She sighed and walked closer to the laptop to read the article. When she was done she pulled out her phone and dialled a number on speaker.

Zara.

"Heh. You're famous bitch." Hades' voice filled the air.

"I need you back here. When can you make it?" I asked tapping my fingers on the counter.

"I'm afraid I can't. Erwin isn't friendly about letting me out of his sight. Unlike you."

"Adorable. Want me to come get you?"
Adrian frowned at me.

"Please do baby. I miss you. Come get me."

"Sure thing. Diana and I will reach you in a day or two." I said.

"Alright Z. Thanks."

I ended the call and released a deep breath. "Are you and Hades a thing?" Jenna asked and I just smiled wryly.

"What are you planning?" Romero asked expectantly. "I'm going back to the agency. Mero I'll need some white hair dye." I said and he just casually nodded. I glanced at Adrian who had an annoyed expression on his face.

"Oh stop pulling that face. You're well aware Hades doesn't stand a chance against you when it comes to me." I said and he looked at me with those eyes.

"Ew. Don't eye fuck her you idiot." Jace snapped and I chuckled.

I left them to continue their bickering and searched for Diana. I wasn't surprised to find her choking a random guy.

"Diana." She looked up at me then at the guy in her hold. She let him go and he fell to the ground in a sputtering, coughing mess.

"The dudes in this mafia are testing my patience." She grumbled. The guy stood up and ran off in the other direction.

"Did you see the news?" I asked. She frowned looking confused and lost.

"Well, Apparently, Erwin is going to be placing a face on the name Z." I said and she blinked in shock.

"Well damn. He's grown some balls I presume. So what are you gonna do about it?" She asked. "Well, we're going back to the agency for Hades. I think they're not allowing him to leave." I said and she scoffed.

"Z. It's Hades. He could break himself out."

"I know, but it won't hurt to stop by and say hi would it?" I asked with a smirk which she mirrored.

"Oh. I live for the mind games." She laughed. "When do we leave?" She asked. "As soon as possible. Jace is booking our flights as we speak." I said running a hand through my hair.

"Your hair's nice. Come on. It still needs the finishing touches." She said with a knowing smile. I followed her.

I stared at myself in the mirror. I loved it. My front almost white blond highlights were back and bolder and I absolutely looked amazing.

"Thanks Diana. Come on. We should get ready to leave." I said. "Have you spoken to Adrian yet?" She asked and I frowned. "Why?" She rolled her eyes.

"You two are frustrating and it's annoying. You're not going to leave without atleast talking to him, right?" She said and I ignored her.

Adrian can wait.

Right now, I had to focus on being able to stop myself from being a target to all the many enemies I have.

We made our way down after getting ready. I wore black shorts and a black T shirt with combat boots. My hair was in a low ponytail with a few strands framing my face.

Adrian and Jace were waiting for us. "We're ready." Diana announced as we stopped before them. Adrian looked me over making me slightly nervous. What was with those eyes again?

"Ayyy. Your Highlights are beautiful Z." Jace complimented and I smirked in thanks.

Adrian stepped closer and tucked my hair behind my ear. "You look gorgeous Angel." He whispered and my cheeks flushed. I mumbled a than you under my breath.

"Stay safe and please Come back to me."

I blinked up at him and without thinking, I leaned up and kissed him.
