there was a thunderstorm erupting from the outside of the hospital, rain showers aggressively slamming onto the roof, thunderous applause of the thunder following with the rain and shudders of lightning.

the hospital seemed to be evacuating with everyone moving up and down and there was melissa mccall with a clipboard in her hands while directing some nurses. "all medications should be sealed inside the plastic bags with the patients carrying it in their hands and when you have evacuated the room, mark the door with a red x, okay?"

melissa then nods, allowing the nurses to leave.

dr. vanderburgh the mccall woman, panic in his steps as he took in the storm. "what in the hell is going on?"

"the weather called for mild thunderstorms this morning, but now–––they're saying power is already out in several towns, hill valley's under flood watch." melissa informs.

dr. vanderburgh seemed stunned by this news. "...i live in hill valley."

"you probably should step on it, then." a feminine voice says from behind them.

"mom."

melissa stares at her daughter as she had seen her still at the hospital. "what are you still doing here, aviva?"

"it's cora, mom." aviva's eyes showed worry.

dr. vanderburgh looks at the younger girl with a frown. "cora hale?"

"yeah, she's your patient." aviva says.

"what's cora doing here?" melissa confusingly asks.

"only sick people come here, mom, what else do you think?" aviva blankly looks at her.

peter hale, who was in the room with cora was pressing a cold rag over her forehead to try and subside the high fever.

"hey! can someone get my niece out of here!" him becoming frustrated as he saw no one bothering to help.

then melissa mccall enters inside the room, followed by aviva, that was seen by peter hale.

"all right-." melissa was saying but stopped in mid sentence as she froze at the sight of peter hale.

"...you were dead." melissa says overwhelmed.

peter shrugs. "i get that a lot."

melissa turns to look at her daughter. "why didn't you tell me that he's alive?" melissa quickly asks through gritted teeth in a nervous tone.

aviva stares at her mother, clearly alarmed. "uh...i forgot?"

cora's akg started beeping out of control when cora's eyes flicked open, her body pushing forward which caused her to vomit out black substance.

"what the hell is that?" peter mumbles.

"jennifer." aviva whispers.

peter confusingly looks at her. "what?"

aviva looks over at peter. "i'm sure, i'm sure that jennifer must have poisoned her..."
