"it's not a date!"
a laugh escaped the red haired, emerald eyed girl, who was behind the steering, her eyes avoiding her brunette and blonde friend as she looked ahead.
amaris hums, knowing exactly that she was lying.
"it isn't, i swear!" lydia laughs.
"um, well–––after what happened with scott, i already told you that i'm not ready to get back out there." allison says.
"you spent four months in france and no pretty french men caught your eyes? come on, now, allison." amaris scoffs at her.
"no, i didn't go there to date." allison gave her a look.
"so, you went to mope?" amaris looks at her.
allison rolls her eyes, a mischievous grin creeping up on her face. "i know you had a little thing with jackson, how you holding up?"
amaris smirks. "better than you."
"can we please not fight?" lydia deeply sighs.
"whatever." amaris rolls her eyes, rocking her elbow on the glass sassily.

amaris' eyes looked out the window, taking in the darkness that invaded the small town, her softly breathing out as she took notice of how lonely the place looked at night, not one car in sight, well...besides lydia martin's.
amaris' eyesight got invaded by a familiar blue jeep that drove with them, her seeing stiles waving at her which made her awkwardly smile.
amaris then saw an anxious looking scott, her then looking at allison who rested her head on the glass, amaris leaned forward, getting close to the brunette's ear.
"boyfriend's stalking." amaris whispers.
allison's eyes widened, quickly turning to look at the blonde then saw her looking outside, and when she followed her contact she saw him, which made her eyes widen in horror and shock.
"lydia, drive, drive, drive." allison panicked.
lydia frowns. "but, it's a red light..."
"drive, please, i-i can't see him now..." allison panicked.
lydia looked behind and saw amaris with a smirk as if she was enjoying this.
"allis-." lydia was saying, but the brunette pressed hard on the gas.
"why are stiles and scott following us?" amaris frowns confusingly.
"it's scott and stiles, should i explain it more simpler?" lydia scoffs, looking at her.
amaris was going to say something but saw a deer standing in front of the car, her eyes wide with fright. "lydia, no! look out!"
lydia swiftly turned around, her shrieking in fear and surprise as she saw the deer almost colliding with them.
the deer gave them one last look before it took off running into the woods, but the car wasn't in such good shape.
"are you okay?" scott shouts in concern as he rushed towards allison.
"i'm fine." allison mumbles.
"is it okay?" amaris whispers. "the deer, think it got hurt?"
lydia gave her a look. "we almost got run over!"
