derek hale walked into his loft, his footsteps slow and gentle as he neared to his bedroom that was oddly dark which confused the man.

"why is it so dark in here?" derek mumbles confusingly, yet he switched on the light switch.

derek then noticed someone in his room which made him exhale deeply, glaring at the person for scaring him.

aviva mccall was sitting on his bed, a glare of her own seething through his green questionable ones, one of her leg dangling from the bed and the other tucked under.

"so, when you're not ignoring me, you're scaring me?" derek scoffs down at her.

aviva glares up at him as he got close to her. "i've...i've been waiting on you for seven whole hours, i was told you wanted to see me, and what i got? you not being here? you should be lucky that i stayed here waiting for you, waiting to hear what you had to say."

"why'd you stay? why didn't you leave?" derek crossed his arms over his chest.

aviva got up in anger, seething with rage as she looks at him, her then getting ready to walk away.

derek grabbed onto her arm, tugging her into him. "don't leave, i want you to stay."

aviva looked down at their hands, then at him, chuckling softly. "you're still as confusing as ever."

"but, what is the problem-." aviva was saying but noticed derek's attention somewhere else.

"derek-." aviva was saying, but derek used a finger and placed it by her lips, making her instantly quiet.

"we have company." he says in a whisper.

cora hale was pulling herself up on a steel bar, her letting out grunts of pain, breathlessly looking at the glass window in front of her.

"it's just cora." aviva sighs out, thinking this was the company that derek was talking about.

"stop, you're still healing." derek warns his younger sister.

cora jumps down, glaring at her brother. "i'm tired of standing around."

"then sit." derek says in a smartass tone.

"i can't believe this! i get my ass thrown in the vault for four months and come back to this?!" cora yells in anger.

aviva looked in between the brother and sister, taking this as a cue to leave.

"sorry to disappoint you." derek mumbles.

"aviva just left." cora then says.

derek looked around for the older mccall, him panicking slightly, then he looked over at his sister. "why didn't you tell me?"

"you were in the middle of lecturing me." cora emotionlessly looks at her older brother.

derek then felt his self being thrown on a wall, his body swinging backward which made him let out a painful groan.

cora growls, seeing it was ennis, her roaring out loudly, eyes glowing their golden color, her then rushing towards ennis but found herself being booted down by kali.

"hello there." a clawed hand waved in front of a pair dark brown doe eyes.

the girl's body stepping backwards, going back into the loft.

"are you four about done? because, listening to that was exhausting!" deucalion dramatically says walking inside.

"deucalion..." aviva mutters.
