it was night time all around the small town of beacon hills, and at the mccall's residence aviva mccall held up her keys to her face, her dark brown eyes confusingly looking at the keys that had claws marks imprinted on them.

scott nervously looks at her as aviva glanced at him. "...why is there marks on these? what are you? some kind of wild animal?"

"it fell." scott nervously looks at her, lying to her.

aviva scoffs, sighing out, giving him a look, sarcastically commenting. "sure it did."

"you're lying or you're probably hiding something from..." aviva trails off, her eyes looking at him in shock, thinking the worse.

"wh-what? i'm not hiding anything! what?" scott scoffs nervously.

aviva felt like what she was thinking was actually real, and scott was afraid to tell her.

"scott? is there something you need to tell me?" aviva softly asks.

"n-no." scott nervously says.

"scott, it's okay, you can tell me, it's okay." aviva softly smiles, touching his face comfortingly.

scott took a hold of her hand. "aviva? do you like stiles better than me?"

aviva frowns her brows confusingly, giving him a strange look. "what? why would you say that?"

"just answer my question." scott pleads.

"you're my baby brother, of course i love you, i really have no idea where you'd get a thought like that from." aviva smiles. "i love you baby brother."

scott smiles in relief, feeling happy with her answer.

"now–––explain this." aviva showed him her clawed keys.

a year ago, behind the stands of the lacrosse field, amaris carter scheduled herself in jackson whittemore's arms, the two blonde's making out with each other heatedly.

jackson's arms roamed her body, her fingers caressing his face gently, then amaris felt herself being gently pulled backwards, the blonde confusingly looking at him, her hand caressing his arm.

"what's wrong?" amaris asks confusingly.

"whatever we have, or you think we might have, it needs to stop, okay?" jackson says.

amaris scoffs, jokingly commenting. "why? do you have a girlfriend?"

"actually, i do." jackson says.

"you better be joking." amaris angrily glares at him.

amaris backed away, her scoffing at him, clearly not happy with him right now, her then walking away.

"but, i do–––i did like you." jackson stammers out.

amaris stopped in her tracks, her scoffing, clearly amused by his words, thinking he was just trying to trap her. "of course you do."

amaris then walks away, slightly rolling her eyes at the image of him in her mind.
