victoria argent was led into her house by her husband and father-in-law, the oldest argent having a cold look in his eyes as he walking in front of them, chris argent sadly looking at his wife, who had a nasty bite of an alpha wounded deeply in her arm.

"it's not that deep." chris weakly whispers.

victoria weakly smiles, her then exhaling. "it's all right, i'll go clean myself up."

victoria then walked away, her feet taking her up the stairs and as she disappeared in the halls chris looked over at his father.

"it's not that bad, we don't know for sure..." argent tried lying to his self.

gerard blankly looks at him. "it's a bite from an alpha. "stating the obvious.

argent had a pained look in his eyes. "she's my wife, allison and henrik's mother." him gritting his teeth with anger as he spoke.

"and i'm the cold hearted patriarch holding his family to its commitments, we all have our roles, just don't expect me to play the posion king to your hamlet of son, not with a full moon coming." gerard's voice hardened. "i believe your son already knows his role and he plays it really well..."

argent scoffs, remembering what happened years ago, even though the latina couldn't remember.

"of course he does..." argent mumbles.

victoria, who was in the bathroom, stood in front of a running sink, her face twisting in anxiety, beads of sweat formed on her face as she cleaned herself up, knowing exactly what's about to come, her weaken expression glaring right back at her.

"mom."

victoria stood still, her then seeing her son standing at the doorstep, staring at her, him seeing the wound on her arm vigorously healing up, his blue eyes filled with tears, a horrified expression on his face, him then slowly walking inside.

"henrik..." victoria sighs in relief. "good, good that it was you, i don't–––i don't think allison would be able to handle all this."

"does it hurt...?" henrik hesitantly asks.

victoria went back to looking at herself in the mirror.

"you're not actually going to do what i think you're going to do, are you?" henrik whispers nervously, taking his place next to her.

him, instead of looking at her, looked at her reflection.

"it's a rule, henrik, you know that." victoria sighs out.

"besides–––you shouldn't be here standing and feeling sorry for me." victoria states.

"i don't have to do anything, everything's shattered, don't worry, i know what i'm doing." henrik smiles.

victoria proudly looks at him through the mirror. "good."

"i don't think allison can get through this, we just buried kate." chris sighs out.

gerard scoffs, smirking at him. "and henrik?"

gerard closely looked at his son, him then nodding. "henrik always has his emotions in check, he's always emotionally ready for anything and how long will it take allison to be emotionally prepared."

"emotions?" argent scoffs. "he ruined an innocent fifteen year old girl's life!"

"oh, come on, now, christopher." gerard tsked. "and the hales didn't?"

"oh, don't you worry about that, grandfather." henrik strolled down the stairs, his voice entering the two men ears.

gerard smirks over at his grandson, while argent seemed horrified, wondering what terrible thing he did.
