it's just passed midnight and strolling down the darkened roads of beacon hills was a black suv, a dark blonde haired woman in the driver's seat and a dark haired blue eyed man was in the passenger seat.
"in other news, local authorities remain perplexed by the animal attacks plaguing beacon hills." the voice on the radio was heard through the car.
kate looks over at her nephew, who rolls his eyes, an annoyed look on his face. "what a bunch of dumbasses."
kate then switched the station to the music station, her looking into the mirror in front of her, touching up her lipgloss.
henrik smirks, glancing over at his aunt. "who are you dolling yourself up for? your werewolf lover?"
"shut up, henrik." kate scoffs, an amused look on her face.
henrik then looks out the window and just in time a dark figure leaps on the vehicle, secretly looking at both argents, eyes glowing a bright red color, anger mixing in its eyes, lowly growling out.
kate partially glanced over at her nephew, her then seeing an alerted expression on his face, his eyes looking around.
the alpha diving back into the shadows so it won't be seen.
"henrik?"
"henrik!"
"didn't you feel that?" henrik looks at his aunt.
"feel what, henrik?" kate confusingly asks.
"i think it's here..." henrik states.
"the alpha?" kate questions.
kate then looks away from him, her feeling like she was feeling herself being hovered by something beastly, the woman then turning around, scanning the road, not paying attention to the road in front of her.
not until henrik had caught her attention. "kate! look at the road!"
kate quickly turns around, her seeing a truck in front of her, honking their horn loudly, kate's eyes widening in surprise, her slamming her feet on the brakes, swinging the vehicle to the side, the tires screeching loudly.
kate then shut her eyes, then opened them, letting out a breathless sigh.
"remind me why you're driving me again?" henrik asks with an annoyed glance.
"henrik, listen to me-." kate was saying, ignoring his hostility.
the alpha speedily jumped in front of both argent, shoving his hand through the windshield, grabbing onto kate's arm, trying to pull her out of the car, but the seatbelt had her strapped tightly, the argent fighting off the alpha.
henrik staring at his aunt, who was fighting the alpha, her then sliding back in the car. "i'm listening."
kate breathlessly looks at her nephew, a look of disbelief on her face.
"alpha? i told you so." henrik says unfazed.

the two argents had gotten to the trunk of the car, where a huge crate of weapons was exposed.
the alpha was out in hiding, kate cocking her gun, an angered look in her eyes, screaming out. "come on!"
kate's angered eyes looked around the area, her seeing a dark figure racing pass them.
henrik sent a stinging bullet straight at someone that he saw was moving through the woods.
