    At a restaurant Miles was hidden by the entrance, looking out for Dave and his mother.
    Alvin: Excuse me!
    Theodore: Pardon me!
    The Munks came over to him.
    Alvin: Miles!
    He looks down at them.
    Miles: Hey. What happened to Officer Dingleberry?
    Simon: Let's just say his elevator got stuck.
    Alvin: Has Dave proposed yet?
    Miles: No, but they're on dessert. It can't be long.
    Dave: Excuse me. I'll be right back.
    Samantha: Oh, okay.
    Dave gets up from his seat, going to a woman as he pulls out the ring case from his pocket.
    Dave: You know what to do?
    Woman: Yes, sir.
    Miles: There's the box.
    Alvin: It's go time.
    The manager of this restaurant approached them.
    Manager: Excuse me, young man, we have a strict no pets policy at this restaurant. I'm going to have to ask to take your meerkats home.
    Alvin: Meerkats?
    Manager: Esteban. Please escort these things out of the restaurant
    Alvin: All right, all right.
    He pats Simon's shoulder.
    Alvin: Come on, guys. We know when we're not wanted. Evasive maneuvers! Nutmeg!
    The three run past underneath the manager.
    Alvin: He shoots, he scores!
    Simon: Nice, Alvin!
    Miles: Go, Alvin, go!
    The manager and Esteban tried catching them.
    Dave heard the yelling.
    Dave: Did you hear that? It sounded like somebody yelled "Alvin".
    Alvin was swinging on a bar like an uneven bar.
    Alvin: Alley-oop!
    He then bounces off a branch and slides down the rail.
    Alvin: Whoo-hoo!
    He jumps and bounces off a man's head.
    Alvin: Pardon me!
    Samantha: I think you're imagining it.
    She takes a sip of her drink.
    Miles holds the ring.
    Miles: Alvin!
    Alvin: I'm open!
    Samantha hears looks up seeing her son from above.
    Samantha: Or not.
    Miles tosses the ring.
    Alvin runs after it, knocking down a wine glass on the table and jumps to bounce of a table sheet from two staffs holding, and soars into the air. He reaches his hand to try and get the ring.
    Simon is wide eyed covering Theordore's eyes.
    The ring then lands in Alvin's hand.
    Alvin: Gotcha!
